I found the explanation rather vague (by the moderator
re: the first and now deleted thread). The thread was not
advocating violence against police & most posters were
clearly condemning the foolishness of deciding to engage
in a shoot-em out with police over a traffic ticket.

I believe there was some concern that our enemies would make hay from the fact that the suspect was a FReeper. The first thread also noted that he was a vehement constitutionalist and Second Amendment defender, items that could be exaggerated by the Dark Side as indictments of this forum.
