A year has passed since September 11th. Yet we, the American people, still don't know exactly what happened. There are still no plans for a public investigation of how more than 3,000 Americans lost their lives, what could have been done to prevent the attacks or reduce their impact.
I believe that hijacked airplanes flew into the WTC and Pentagon, while another crashed in Pennsylvania. That's how this all transpired last time I checked.
Besides, everyone knows that George W. Bush is at fault for this. He was supposed to personally kill all of the hijackers in all four planes simultaneously with his bare hands. < /sarcasm>

Maybe we should investigate, might find that ol clintoon was so busy with interns and women that he blew it, or it was blown while he was.

If Harrison Ford can do it, why can't Dubya? </sarcasm off>

Apart from your obvious and well stated sarcasm. What is wrong with an investigation?
I think all politicians are covering their butts on this one. Yet I trust our democracy and our collective reasoning on to vote out the dead wood who let this happen. I would prefer more information to none!
I don't vote to let people tell me what to think.Probably you get my drift in that I don't trust professional politicians on either side of the aisle...
