I don't blame you. However, we must remember that there are Christian Arabs - like WMD's Joseph Farah - as well, and they're as horrified by the actions of these Muslim Arabs as anyone.

The word "terrorist" was invented to demonize the enemies of Israel without explicitly mentioning little details like history, geography, religion, and tribal affilation.

Uh, so what would you call the destruction of the World Trade Center, Islamic Evangelization? Try a Webster’s dictionary search of the word terrorism. Google is rotting your brain. Re-writing the meanings of language to different meanings is a top warning flag of religious cults, in case you are interested.

I'd call the WTC mass murder just that, a "mass murder". And an "act of war" if a states were involved.
I disagree with introducing new terms where old ones will do. There's usually an agenda afoot, as you helpfully have pointed out.
"terrorism" and "terrorist" are subjective, nebulous terms. Mass murder is objective and clearly defined.

Yes, the "demonizing the other" crowd are Marxist mind-melters, but if you can understand it they have a very cogent critique. Even the feeling voiced in this thread, that "Arab terrorist" is redundant, would be a predicable artifact in normative terrorism discourse from their point of view.
Since prediction is the mark of good science, they might be on to something. And they're not "re-writing" the language! They doing the exact opposite: exploring the origin and use of the terms as tools to control the bounds of discourse. They'd say it's re-writing language to call murder or mass murder "terrorism."
This is where the anti-PC conservatives have a problem with calling things "hate crimes" and making them somehow extra wrong. "Terrorism" and "hate crimes" are just normal crimes (however henious) described with trumped-up rhetoric. It serves no good purpose, but can be diverted for bad ones...
