The one looking to his right, I believe, in the top picture, between the elbow of the Armoured Cars Regiment officer wearing the yellow-on-red stable belt [pistol belt, Yanks!] and the skyward-pointing DShk machinegun on the far T55L tank, next to the fellow wearing eyeglasses looking directly at the photog. Not Rhodesia's SAS C squadron or Selous Scouts, though.
Photo taken about 0900 Hrs, 04 March 04, 1980, as members of the Armoured Cars Regiment's *E Squadron* get the news to stand down in their part of * Operation Quartz,* scheduled to take place that day along with simultaneous ccontingincy plans QUARTZ, HECTIC, HATCHET and HAVOC.
