Enter Hal Jordan and if i'm not mistaken a brand new series of the Spectre.

Ya, there's been a new series; Hal became the entity that walks (floats?) the earth on his mission of redemption (vengence?). From what I've understood, he's met up with Abin Sur (the alien GL that originally gave Hal his ring upon his death), and a number of other dead folks from the DC Universe (I understand Deadman has been around lately as well).

Mind you, I haven't been able to truly keep up with comics like I used to in the last three or four years. I've really gotta get back in. ('bout the only one I'll go out of my way to stay away from is the X-titles - they've become so hopelessly confusing without buying a boatload every month that I got away from them more than ten years ago).

Your right, I don't keep up with all the X-Men, just Wolverine. I've got just about every issue of the Wolverine series to date including the original 4 issue mini-series.

I also really liked most of the John Ostrander series of the Spectre, the Cover art was fantastic.

Mr. (Judd) Winick is perhaps better known as one of the 1994 roommates in "The Real World" in San Francisco on MTV.

If I remmeber this guy correctly, he called himself a "bed wetting liberal" even then. He was sooooooooooooooo, annoying! I mean even for an MTV roomate on "The Real World", this guy was a 14 carat a$$hole.

I'd also like to know how many were being obnoxious about pronouncing their 'sexual orientation' to everyone and demanding 'acceptance'.

So, if someone is a little too flamboyant for you, it's OK to beat them up? Sort of like if a woman wears skimpy clothes she deserves to be raped? Get real.

comics repesent the whole society and the people that live in it, it repesents people in a world similar to our own but yet different. tollerance is the key people. or do you want a world where women don't work and are not equal, where black people are regarded as slaves, i think not. we are all human and we all deserve to be treated the same in all walks of life and all mediums.

An oldie but goodie:

One day Superman is flying around the city when he see's Wonder Woman flat on her back sunning herself stark naked on the roof of the Justice League of America building.

He zooms in with his supervision and starts getting turned on. He thinks "Man, I wish I could get me some of that."

Then he thinks "Hey, I'm SUPERMAN...I can zip down there at super speed and finish my business before she even realizes I'm there."

So boom, down he goes, does his business and zooms off.

Wonder Woman jumps up startled and says "What the hell was that???."

The Invisible Man says, "I don't know, but my asshole is sore as hell..."
