This is very revealing - democrat leaders think the way to win over their constituencies is by stirring up hate, envy, and racial paranoia. Bush's "new tone in Washington" is the new tactic that is going to do them in. They already get 90% of the black vote, so they've already got about all they can get with these tactics. Meanwhile, they are turning off the average apathetic and uninformed voter in the center, who is the key to elections.
