wait a minute now, sounds like we're from the same generation and I think you forgot a few like:
Supertramp - Breakfast in America
The Cars - The Cars
The Doors - The Doors
Dire Straights - Brothers in Arms
Fleetwood Mac - Rumors
and a whole bunch more if I think about it

"The Doors - The Doors"
"Fleetwood Mac - Rumors"
Both of those came very close to making my list.

I'm glad I read the posts - I would have added all you did except the Cars - forgot about them.
The kids (4 and 8) are taking a nap now. Dad feels like playing some music now - loudly.
I'm sure they will get over it.
What a great Saturday!

The Doors' "LA Woman" seems to be missing.

I've got some faves that hardly anyone would agree with, but here are some of my more mainstream ones:
Billy Squier - In the Dark
Rush - Moving Pictures (or maybe Chronicles)
Heart - Dreamboat Annie
.38 Special - Special Forces
The Kinks - One For the Road (Live)
Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic
Eagles - Hotel California (followed by The Long Run)
Metallica - Black Album
Guns 'N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
The Offspring - Smash
