Thank you for attending the event -- I could not venture out into the heat today, and I'm sorry I missed it.

Great job! Great post! And great pictures! With all the flags and banners and the location, looked like y'all were lining up for the Great Battle of Crawford, Texas! Wish I had been there. Hurrah for Texas!

Great job! We have a bunch of folks needing direction from adults today.

DANG! I missed it. I was supposed to be out of town this weekend, but plans changed and I forgot about this. I should have been there. McLynnan, did you make it?

Terrific pictures and I wish I could have been there. Proud of all of you for defending the cause and enduring the stifling heat. We had old friends in town who were setting their daughter up at Baylor or I would have come out for a while.
Isn't the Coffee Station with the cardboard cutouts and pictures a hoot? Did you eat there? The food is darned good for cafe food!
Valerie, don't feel bad. I'm the biggest heat wimp in the world and don't know if I'd have been able to handle it today for more than a little while even if I'd been free. If there's another summer Crawford FReep maybe you and I can do something on a consultant basis from the air conditioned Coffee Station.

I knew this was going to be a great report when I clicked on the thread. Thanks so much for posting this.
I love the fact that we're not allowing the "protesters" to be out there without an answer.

Gee, I wanted to be at this freep so bad I could taste is! I had all the plans in place to be there, but suffered a little set back, healthwise, and have been confined to my house, for the most part until Monday, when I go in for more tests.
Having said all of that, it looks like ya'll did a SUPER JOB without me--as I knew you would. All of you make me proud to be a Texan. I can't wait until our next H.O.T. chapter meeting so I can hear all the nitty-gritty details!

Good report! The area is lovely! Doesn't it make you feel good to support the President and the war on terror against such anarchists? Love the coffee shop photos!

HOT CHAPTER:
Great report and pictures! It was so good to meet the members of the HOT Chapter when I visited in June. You guys do good work and look great, too! I hope to be back in your neck of the woods in October. FReep On! FReepers -- We're Everywhere!
Ms. basil -- so sorry to hear you weren't feeling well. Hope you got my message about the package to arrive on Monday. It'll make you smile. Take care now.
