What say you Freepers? What say you Mods? What say you JimRob?
I wrote this very early yesterday morning. Already $400 in monthlies have been reinstated. I am grateful.
It became unnecessary for me to post this to the mod page first.
The issue of the next Freepathon has already been settled.

This will be a good lesson for all of us about keeping our tongues (you and me included) in check during the heat of battle. We all said some pretty rough things and now is a good time to apologize and move on.

I am going to post this first to the moderators through the abuse button to give them time to digest what I have written.
You're a good Joe! Thanks for all you and Jim do for this site. Just for fun I think anyone who agrees and admires you the way many of us here do should hit the abuse button and let the mods know that we're all in this together! :)

I hope all parties concerned learned from this episode. I mean that sincerely. Some organizations are destined to grow by fits and starts. I trust that's what happened here.
I also hope that the demon seed that has taken root in our garden can be strangled, and that we can get back to America's business now.
I'd like to thank all the principals for eventually looking beyond themselves to the greater good, and for being willing to hold their fire until the ENEMY takes the field.
Shoulder ARMS! Right FACE! For'ard MARCH!!!

This will probably get me banned, but, to heal, one must start by forgiving. So, why not start by reinstating those who were banned for such things as religious and political views.
Being from Maine, will I'm sure get me a guilt by association banning.

To any moderators I have maligned.
I sincerely apologize. Oakey doakey, but I have an hour to take a whack at the moderator that silenced me, right?
Just tell me who the little rascal is and we can move quickly to reconciliation with little bloodshed.

I have been a Freeper since 2/98 and have stayed off for months at a time due to all the infighting. Yesterday Doug from Upland was on the phone with Sean Hannity on radio. Sean mentioned Freepers canabalizing each other. He did blame that on the flamers and disruptors, and told Doug to say hi for him to all the Good Freepers. I know that sometimes I will type something on FR that I have heard on KFI 640 am, conservative talk radio about Westerfield case for example. They had Laura Ingle sitting in on the trial and reporting in daily. I would take down in shorthand what she said, and type it word for word on FR. Other Freepers will jump on me and say I am lying. Does grate on raw nerves. I just usually leave that particular thread. It gets on my nerves, but I come back later in same day. I don't enjoy meeting with most of the Freepers I have met in person. Although we had a great group of Freeper women in Houston - most of us have moved away. And we had a GREAT group of Freepers in DC in Oct 1998!!!! I just don't have a lot in common with the Houston male Freepers. But they get along great with each other and that is good!!!!
