Does anyone have the latest on this? On how its original intent to bring equality between men and women to all countries, has now been perverted into forcing same sex unions , etc.?
CEDAW was written in the 1970s, and it embraces what is called a "social construct" theory of gender, which holds that all distinctions between the sexes have been created by men to keep women down. CEDAW calls for governments to eliminate these distinctions everywhere in society, including within schools, families and churches.
