These are the big guys, the big guns, filing this suit and this is where the battle will be won or lost. In the unlikely event that they do win, they're going to regret ever filing that suit within hours. The people who actually get the money will be named, they will become pariahs throughout the nation, and race relations overall will be set back at least thirty years.

I think if they win then Jesse Jackson will come from nowhere and claim the prize for his "charities". Then it will become serious.

These suites were not filed with the hope of winning. The strategy is to get the corporations to pressure congress to fund reparations. Those behind the suits know the real money is in Congress.
They might have some regrets but the billions going to attorneys and the non-profit organizations will more then assuage any regrets they will have. Besides, have you ever heard of a lawyer having regrets? One has to have a certain moral basis to experience regret. For example, Johnny Cochran is involved in these suits. Do you think he regrets one moment of the OJ trial? Or the verdict?
