CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- U.S. Senator John Edwards of North Carolina plans to spend at least $1 million in the next nine weeks on nonpartisan television ads - even though he's not running for office.

The Democrat must spend the "soft money" held by his political action committee before midnight November 5, when strict campaign finance laws take effect that ban raising or spending such money.

This guy looks OK but he is really quite "thin between the ears" and displays much of his ignorance every time he opens his mouth. This makes him a near perfect liberal Democrat.

Edwards new autobiography has to be one of the thinnest books in history. Edwards, a lawyer, dictated the book. (Were his lips were moving when he did it?)
