"We have reached the end of the road with respect to Martha Stewart," said Ken Johnson, spokesman for the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

katt, there's a part of me that realizes wishing ill on others- even those you despise- is not a good thing... and a part that also realizes that Martha is a sacrificial Goat being used to deflect attention from Rubin, McAuliffe, et al-- but there's also a part of me that's really enjoying this self-worshipping, diva-dominatrix's downfall...

No doubt. I'm sure the cell will be well decorated. Maybe they'll let her make the salad in the mess hall.

Congress has lost patience with Martha Stewart...

Martha may soon join in singing that prison work song, "Po Lazarus." I can picture her in that opening prisoner scene in O Brother Where Art Thou. I'll bet she'll swing a mean sledge hammer breaking those rocks in unison with her fellow chain gang members as they work and sing.

Perhaps she can launch some new magazines while she's there:

Better Jails & Exercise Yards
Good Cellkeeping
Prison Beautiful

And so on. ;)

Regards, Ivan
