Is Human Uzi Ann Coulter 38 or 40 years old? And when she insists that she's the former, is she telling a fib? The right-wing media scourge who has been getting plenty of ink for her best-selling book, "Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right" frequently scorches hapless reporters who dare write that she's no longer in her thirties. Newsday's Aileen Jacobson who was planning to rely on numerous published accounts, including People magazine's, that Coulter is 40 let her subject argue her into using the younger age in a recent profile. "Media accounts that she's 40 are wrong, she maintains," Jacobson wrote. But yesterday Jacobson told us: "I do believe that she is 40." London Telegraph writer Toby Harnden, meanwhile, wrote in his July 19 piece: "An air of mystery surrounds Coulter's age. She says she is 38 but her publicist puts her at 40. After the interview, she sends me an e-mail: 'I think you should go with one of the incorrect younger ages.' " Our own investigation revealed that: * Coulter's Connecticut driver's license lists her birth as December 1961. * Her D.C. driver's license, acquired many years later, says she was born in December 1963. * The birth date on file at the New Canaan, Conn., voter registration office is Dec. 8, 1961. In an effort to clear up all this confusion, a member of The Post's crack research team phoned the New Canaan registrar of voters, who chuckled, checked his records and reported that Coulter registered to vote in 1980, when presumably she was the legal minimum voting age of 18. That would make her 40 today. But when we reached Coulter, she predictably stuck to her guns. "It's like the difference in being thrown off the 13th floor or the roof," she e-mailed us. "So the upside is, I'm two years younger than at least some newspapers have said I am, but the downside is, I'm still 38. Yikes!"

It's only a number...depending on who you are.
To Libs...it's a condemnation. Little, miserable fools, trying to coerce others into their disease.

Who cares how old she is? She's an excellent writer...

Some people look better and sound smarter when they are 40 than when they were 38.

It's so easy to tell, Hillary, Feinschwein, and Renos ages by looking at their teeth that no Republican counter-offensive is necessary, but I encourage one anyway.

No truer words spoken than when El Rushbo stated, "The libs get weird (and entertaining) when they're out of power..."

That would make Helen Thomas subject to the "old growth" regulations. We must re-pot her in a stretch of Pacific-Northwwest rainforest immediately.

Oh, she's a very special 38.
She's got 'em all worked up...and she couldn't care less.
They hate when that happens.

I thought the Leftists were the ones always bitching about how women are "objectified". Now they want to make an issue about Ann's true age. What a completely empty arsenal they have to choose from. Anyone who isn't an idiot - nevermind, that would be the entire spectrum of Democrat voters.

The Democrats only objective is to tax and create a dependant vote through make-work gov. jobs and handouts.
After that, all they have is fear to cause a negative vote.
Look at Hillary now, they aren't talking about anything she has done in the Senate. Instead the hair is in the news over her efforts! LOL You have to love it! Her hair is what stands out about her job in the Senate.

"It's the partisanship, stupid."
Or is it the Stupid Partisanship? When desperate, they reveal themselves as truly base and not respectable, intellectually. Creatively bankrupt, because their views are groundless, unsupported, and indefensible.
I'm glad their words are in print. Muttly to Lib "Journalist":
Go away, little man. (goes for most of their women, too!)

She looks alright to me. And she writes like hell.
To: A CA Guy
Just wait, Connie Chung will do another special with the Hildebeast where she will be allowed to discuss how she's been "victimized" by the phallocentric hegemonic VRWC, and any discusson of Ann will have been long forgotten.

The thing about Democrats that leaves me speachless is their ability to stand by anything with the name Democrat next to it?
Where Hillary was voted in, a ham sandwich could have been elected if Democrat was next to the label.

It's difficult, no, impossible to have a consistent philosophy as a group when being a member of that group requires one to hold several conflicticting personal beliefs. How can a person be against the death penalty for convicted murderers while supporting laws that allow the murder of unborn children, for instance?

To: Dakmar
Yes, Democrats are for killing the innocent and saving the lives of evil people.
Meanwhile Conservatives (Republicans) are for saving innocent life and making the evil ones pay - again go figure how we are made out to be the bad guys!
My view is that you jail for life the bad guys. Not because I don't want them to fry, but it would cost about 7 million less to just house them for life.
Until we bring down appeals cost it is cheaper by millions to house them.
Also, though I want' NO ABORTION, if we could take the argument that abortion is only acceptable in rape or life and death of mother, then we can save 99% of the babies.
Convenience and selfishness makes up 99% of the abortions.
Again, nothing against the death penalty or no abortions, I just think we have to frame the argument down a different road on the way to the same end!
The all or nothing route often leaves you with nothing.

My God what a stupid thing to make all this hay about.
To: Dakmar
Let me see if I can reconcile that belief system.
A murdering scum bag has lived a life rich with experience and duration, therefore deserving of respect for its fullness. Such a life, no matter how vile, evil or detrimental to those in the society at large, has reached a stage of completeness that is beyond mere judgement by his/her peers.
Now, the innocent unborn, in the alternative, knows nothing of life in its durance, nothing of life derived by meaningful sensation and is truely a tabula rosa (blank slate) which, if tossed aside, will only be a blank slate decaying in some organic compost. Indeed, we see that the poor distraught mother is really in the same state of grace as the murderous scumbag in the paragraph supra. Ergo, her life could be altered in some cosmic manner unbefitting her choice of lifestyle if the spark of life in her womb were allowed to gestate. We see, then, that mercy for the life experiences of the murderous scum and the aborting non-mother are sacrosanct and trump any negative judgement.
Thank-you.

Why is it that liberals can happily ignore crimes of the highest scale (just pick any five or six from the Clinton Administration, there's plenty enough for everyone), and yet at the same time think that catching Ann Coulter in a lie about her age is somehow going to destroy her?

I am not against the death penalty as an example, but I am against the extra 7 million to kill them. So if we could in some way suspend their rights to expensive appeals, I'd throw a switch or two myself.
As far as abortion is concerned, I think the country could be turned to a philosophy of no abortions except in the cases of rape or the threat of death of the mother. That is possible to win over time.
If a girl is raped, how do you force her to have the child of the rapist?
If you KNOW the mom will die in birth, why make her die giving birth?
Yes we hold our noses even with those two forms of abortion, but we can win the lives of the other 99% I think.
It would be a lack of ethics that would say though, save the bad guy and kill the innocent baby!
As you see, I have good reasons for what I think about things and I would save a ton of cash without giving bad guys a nice life.
Plus we can save a lot of babies by fighting the abortion issue as I view it!
Just my opinion as to winnable approaches, but killing the bad guys on death row and having no abortions would be ideal for me as well.

It was the affable Eva Braun herself, Katie Couric, who happily handed over the entire Today show so the Queen could issue her pronouncements to the nation.

I agree with you on both points. The lawyers have made it more expensive to impose capital punishment than it would cost to keep murderers locked up for life. That's a separate issue, reallty, since I was talking about the philoshopy of capital punishment rather that the practicality. You made some very good points though, and commend you.
I also agrre with you that rape victims should be allowed to abort. I've stated that in the past and got mercilessly flamed, but I think forcing a woman who was raped to carry that progeny to term is cruel and sick. What if some scumbag was able to rape and impregnate a few hundred women, should he be rewarded by being allowed to pass on his genes to dozens of offspring? That probably explains why most of the Moslem world is today comprised cheifly of of barbaric, rapist, murdering scum.

Iwish every baby could be born, but I can see where rape is not normal. If the mother is knowingly going to die from child birth, then that to is not a normal situation.
But what we are talking about mught be 300 babys a year not being born instead of 2 million.
At the same time we might grab the majority of America to pull this off.

I hear you, I just wish the absolutists could. You may get called a moral relativist for taking such a stance, but I know you are not. I think you are trying to apply common sense solutions to what have become nearly intractible social problems. Too bad so few can approach social problems from an intellectual, rather than emotional perspective.
