These arrests were obviously timed to draw attention away from the embarrassing Florida incident on Alligator Alley.

The Yemenis were being tracked starting five months ago, so the arrest's timing last night is suspicious, to say the least. Particularly when the details released about their activities are so tame.

If the government is attempting to play the people like a fiddle, we can only be grateful that it is very bad playing.

Maybe next month the government can release figures on CNBC's Morning Call that the charge against the Buffalo Yemeni Five "has been revised downward to overtime parking."

unlike politicians and journalists, the bomb dogs don't lie. alligator ally was not embarrassing. if the dog is upset, then we got to figure out why quickly. especially if we also see...let's just say "folks with funny names and hats."
