The most astounding thing was that while they were filming, Chris Wallace was walking down the street and a woman came up to them and looked right into the camera and said, "Tell American that we want what they gave Afghanistan."
Wallace asked her if she wasn't afraid to show her face on film and she said, "No. Ninety percent of us want freedeom. I want them to hear my voice and see my face."
ABC did blur her face and voice. It was unbelieveable. We take freedom for granted.
I guess that's why Iran went door to door and took the satellite dishes when Afghanistan was freed. It looked really good on TV.
I'm glad they want to get rid of their religious nutcases, but this doesn't mean the US needs to do this for them. Let them earn their own freedoms so they will value them. People who have it handed to them on a silver platter don't have the same respect for it as do those who fight for it.
