Before this gets totally out of hand .... they were heading in OPPOSITE directions. Not to take anything away from the looniness of Florida.

I wouldn't be surprised to find he decided to decamp after the three were delayed on Alligator Alley.

No they weren't. The three "jokers" were heard talking on their way to Miami (running 5 hours behind) the morning of 9/12...the same day this guy arrived in Miami. This guy didn't fly to Tampa from Miami until 9/13.
