Babelfish listed in the header, is an online computer program capable of translating websites in several foreign languages into English equivalents (sort of). Or from English into other languages.
The results are often comical, but given that it's a completely automated translation, it's actually surprisingly good. It can even translate to/from Chinese and Japanese, which is *not* easy.
The original article was apparently in some other language, and someone used Babelfish to render it into English so that its content could be read and appreciated here.
It's a very handy service. Here is my first paragraph in French, even though I don't *know* French:
