Great. Now we're back to the 1998 shell game stage

If Clinton was in charge, I might agree. Watch GWB!

We are back on the merry-go-round.....this is what I was afraid would happen..

This is bishop to king 3 to block checkmate. Three moves and Saddam's done. No later than March 03, IMO.

That's the big question about inspections. Even given TRULY unfettered access, whic was never the case in the prior inspection regime, could all WMD be located? Maybe so. Maybe not.

Nonetheless, even Ritter has said (in a past life) that the Iraqi's would move materials ahead of the inspectors, and if they failed to do that, they simply stonewalled the inspection (i.e. wouldn't allow it). Guess Ritter has blanked out those memories.

Annan is the worst possible Secretary General that they have ever had. He sure missed the boat on what President Bush said at the United Nations.

Probably he was simply taking orders from Tom Daschle.

" I didn't think there were any other kind of conservative than principaled ones - Are there? How do you tell the difference? Who makes that decision? Is it done by committee or does Ann Coulter do it all by herself?
Are there principaled conservatives that are not Christians? What other religiion(s)? What about ethnicity does that have any bearing on principals as far as conservatives are concerned?

The witty provacateur bit only plays well if you don't betray your lack of acquaintance with written English; it's "principle", not "prinicipal". The latter would have been the head official at the government institution at which you studied your spelling. "

Spell-Nazi huh, well would you like to dip your quill and
answer my inquiry regarding conservative "principles" or are you in the habit of grading the essays on proper english usage and not content?

It seems to me that GW has Iraq and the United Nations in a corner. Kofi tried to do an endrun tonite but will be quickly rounded up. I can see an overthrow of Iraq from inside. Time may be on our side. There are 16 resolutions to be complied with and that is a long row to hoe for Iraq and the UN.

Yes, it is. Saddam will try to negotiate the other resolutions. Then, back down after much haggling. Then, say he's going to comply. Finally, he will once again fail to comply. Then, it's bye, bye Saddam.

You've tried to imply your educational level reached PhD. I doubt that very much, if you'd insist you attended American schools. You use clintoonesque baiting methodology, but you've used 'your' several times when 'you're' is correct. Your English teachers didn't do such a good job with you. Is your Arabic any better; you're now irrelevant.

Matt Drudge was too hasty. There are conditions in the end of the Iraqi Foreign Minister's letter that give away Saddam's game. The Iraqi dictator is willing to agree to inspections if sanctions are lifted first and he gets to call the shots on when and where inspections take place in Iraq. "Inspections without preconditions" indeed. LMAO! Matt should have taken time to read the ENTIRE letter carefully before falling for the Iraqi regime's deception. Iraq agreed to none of the demands President Bush set forth in his U.N address last week. As a result, we're more or less back at square one and the march towards war will continue.

Smarta$$,,seen any world wars since 1945???? Have the Germans or the Japanese or the Italians caused any wars or problems since? You are one piece of work and your grandparents are now wondering where on earth their children went wrong,,or they are rolling in their graves. You don't know what you are talking about other than to act like a perpetual adolescent whining about those who are grown ups. Buzz off little boy.

May I respectfully ask that all of us ignore the children in the mix and try to speak above their din??? They come in like adolescents throwing their bookbags around, whining about how mean the coach is, how unfair homework is, why don't they have a big screen HD tv, why do they have to floss,,,you get my point. We cannot teach them as they just want to pose and feel vain and superior to their elders. I move we pretend they aren't here so they can get back to listening to their music and doing their English homework.

"You don't know what you are talking about other than to act like a perpetual adolescent whining about those who are grown ups."

Acadian grown-ups espousing political views - that's about as worthwhile as enlightening a bar-b-que recipe book from Jefferey Dahmer -

From that great State that brought us Huey Long, David Duke, and the present governor who is going to jail along with the last 4 Insurance Commissioners that are already in the slammer - Where their view of foreign affairs is a married lady making it in the cab of an 18 wheeler with a truck driver from Texas. The only State where you can be registered to vote - several times - and all under Napoleanic law - a clue - nobody else in this country uses that French crap.

You don't get much further left than Huey or much further right than David - but I'll give you guys credit for raising "blind allegiance" to an art form.

Know it was past your bedtime and to late to participate last night - We had some great discussions. I figure old man Broussard was probably home and won't let you play with your friends when he's in the house - that's understandable.

Listen - say hello to Deaux Deaux for me - go by the VFW for a few hands of Bouray - and tell everybody I said hello Sha.

Oh - Kool-Aids in the ice box.

Whe

Sir, the present governor, a republican, is not going to jail. I am not an acadian but resent your tone. You resort to state bashing to make your point? Have you bothered to read T. Harry Williams Pulitzer prize bio of Huey Long, have you read Walker Percy's great novels, have you seen John Audubon's great prints, do you listen to blues music, to jazz? Does the name Tennessee WIlliams mean anything to you? And to top it off, the Cajuns were expelled from France, some twice. That establises any bone fides for them in my mind. You are a twerp.

It's 8-5 he will before his term is over -

Culture - hey Louisiana's had it, got itand will continue to have it - but politics and anyone espousing knowledge regarding same who is camped out in Louisiana - that doesn't play here in Muncie.

Cajuns being expelled from France be damned - they've been expelled from Port Arthur, Texas -

They just brought that old Froggie Law with 'em - Again - NOBODY IN THE US USES NAPOLEANIC LAW OTHER THAN LOUISIANA -
Now that should tell you something

Those words "practical arrangements" in the Iraqi letter??

Would that mean "we'll tell you where you can go, what time you can go there, take you there and escort you away"???

I don't think they're talking about room and board!!

Same story, different day!!
