He's at it again. After Janet Reno conceded defeat and pledged to set about "fixing" the goofed up Florida voting system, Ol' Dogwood chipped in his two cents.
"If I were were Governor of this state, I think I'd have fixed that by now...It's been two years"

Of course, the responsibility for conducting elections is on the county officials, not the Governor. Further, the only county precincts to be seriously fudged up are DUMOCRAP RUN precincts who haven't a clue how to operate or even get poll workers to show up to do their jobs.

Yes, Dems are experts at fixing elections.
Hey Al, how come you couldn't fix Tennessee in 2000?

Hmm... A Democrat race, Democrat voting officials caught with ballots, the same three Democrat counties... But hey, it must be a Republican who's to blame, right? After all, if a Democrat was in charge of Florida, there would be no need for Democrat vote fraud.

Sorry to say but, fair or not, the governor as the top man gets the blame. If the roles were reversed, of course, the GOP would be piling on.

I think Al is being way too modest. If he was Governor, I'm sure he would have invented some interstellar solution to Florida's voting problems AND that system would probably also cure global warming, the drought, the budget shortfall, racism and would put not one, but two, chickens in every pot!!

The fix is in!

This moron couldn't fix a toilet for a tenant a few years ago.
Please Sweet and Merciful G-d, let the Democrats have him as their candidate in '04!
To: Wondervixen
Fixed it like he fixed the ramshackle home his poor tenant lived on in Tennessee.

Ol' Al would have had it fixed just like he fixed the plumbing in his rental property. All he can do is talk.

You are so wrong. The republicans do not lay blame where it doesn't belong.

Jeb Bush needs to go on TV and say, "Look folks, Al Gore is either an idiot or he thinks you're an idiot. The fact is that I am not in charge or control of the country polling offices. They are run by county election boards. The counties in question are run by democrats and were the counties we spent the most on after the 2000 Presidential election. Either Mr. Gore knows this and thinks you are stupid, or he doesn't have a clue. Oh, and by the way Al, FIX THIS!!"

With apologies to Ann Coulter, but an obvious question arises from this: If Al Gore is the towering genuius that was humiliated just to share the stage with the dim-wits that he ran against, why does he always sound like such a dope?

The only thing the demwits are good at is "fixing" elections
To: Wondervixen
Typical Gore. As for Reno, you gotta give the guy some credit for showing more class than Gore did when he was in a similar situation....

C'mon do you really believe that? Politics is a dirty business on both sides. Of course, the GOP would use it against a Democratic governor. Frankly, from a purely political standpoint, they'd be fools not to!

Would YOU trust an election in a state that ANY CHIEF POLITICIAN had a hand in "fixing" the system? This potential for impropriety is precisely why Governors are supposed to keep their hands OUT of it!

"If I were were President of the US, I think I'd have caught Osama that by now...It's been 10...ooooppps 2 years"

They really fix 'em in St. Louis. Dead folks and their dogs get to vote.
