Good God, the guy walks and talks like he is out of his mind!.

He is a walking parody of himself.

Please let him run for President again!.

Bill McBribes running mate Tom Rossin already sent out a press release in May stating that the Democratic party in Florida, without any help from Jeb, had fixed all the problems and that, thanks to the Democrats, everything would be just fine in the next statewide election.

He is as delusional as that freakshow on 2 legs algore.

DEMOCRATS' COMMITMENT TO REAL ELECTION REFORM
REALLY PAYS OFF FOR FLORIDA

Tallahassee - Democrats' relentless commitment to ensuring real election reform for Florida before the next statewide election will pay off today when, after months of a Republican Governor and Legislature dragging their feet on election reform, SB1118 is signed into law.

"Democrats took a seat at the head of the table this year and were instrumental in ensuring election reform for the state of Florida," said Senate Democratic Leader Tom Rossin (D-Palm Beach). "Floridians have rightly demanded that what happened in last November's election never happen again. Thanks to the leadership and hands on involvement of Democrats, like Sen. Daryl Jones, real election reform will become the law of the land in Florida."

Largely due to the persistence of Democrats, the Legislature adopted most of the recommendations of a bipartisan election reform task force that will ensure every vote is counted in the next statewide election.

Some of the key provisions Democrats fought for and ensured were contained in the comprehensive election reform package include: eliminating punch cards, provisional ballots, automatic machine and hand-recounts, extending certification deadlines, a Voter's Bill of Rights and Responsibilities, updating absentee ballot procedures, comprehensive poll worker training and recruitment, substantial funding for much-needed voter education and a "real time" voter registration database and website.

"We all know that when the Governor wants something from this Legislature, he gets it," said Rossin. "This year, Democrats ensured the people's voice was heard in spite of the Governor, who after all this state went through in November, made only a fleeting comment on election reform in his State of the State address, took no active role in his own elections task force and didn't include one dime in his budget to fix our elections system. Gov. Bush is only signing this bill today because he can't afford not to after the public pressure put on him by Democrats and by voters to ensure real election reform by our next statewide election."

"If I were were Governor of this state, I think I'd have fixed that by now...It's been two years"

More of them woulda', shoulda', coulda's from the RAT's pile of human cyberdung. He hasn't fixed a damn thing in his political career except the 2000 election--and even then it was Bugsy Daly and Revrearend Jackson who most of the work.

I fail to see what the problem is here.

Just set up the ballots to look like B-I-N-G-O cards! Sheesh!

You are correct of course, the governor is not the least bit responsible for the election procedures. The problem is that it works when he says these outrageous things because the media doesn't call him on it, and the people are clueless, obviously.
Gore, you are right, it has been two years, shutup about it already, sheesh! Broken record.

Sorry to say but, fair or not, the governor as the top man gets the blame. If the roles were reversed, of course, the GOP would be piling on.

Only in our dreams!

Also, it wouldn't work if the people weren't so uninformed as to the functions of the elections and who is in charge.

This is not about fixing a voting system it is an experiment in fixing an election, the punch card system was designed, by Mayor Daily, to steal elections, when that was replaced with new voting systems, new methods of fixing elections had to be developed, they have not perfected that yet. Until the Dems figgure out how to successfully steal elections with the new voting system, we will continue to see the disillusioned voter, screaming, and whining, after every election.

That being said, there is a large group of people from traditional democratic families that don't even realize that the dems don't even represent their views any more. In fact, many take what dems say as gospel because they've been democrats for generations.

That's so true. I meet a women a several years ago, a conservative Christian, who was a Demo cuz her parents, grandparents, etc. I explained to her what has happened to the Rats, now her whole family is registered Republicans.

I'm working on a group of bubble-headed soccer moms now. Much tougher crowd.

Gore as Florida governor would have monitored Dade and Broward, and fired the Democrat election officials (including the black female in Broward) before the election for incompetent preparation? It sounds reasonable to me.
