WARNING, I am going bible here...
Revelation Chapter 6 regarding the 4 horseman of the apocalypse vs 8 reads...
"And I looked, and behold, a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."
When you look up the word "pale" in the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, the orginal word in Greek is "chloros" (#5515). Defined as greenish, i.e. verdant, dun-colored;-green,pale.
This may be old news to many, yet some may have percieved the "pale" horse as gray, as I used to, until I looked it up way back. So, just read it as a "green" horse. Anyway, I find it interesting, and one may draw their own conclusions, or speculate as you wish, or totally disregard scripture. But, I for one see it as very significant, and fitting to the current state of affairs, and things to come in the near future.
FOFL, Very good analysis, I will borrow that term if you don't mind?
Should've gone upstream & your honey hole, or Finley Bend.
Living in the 4th Congressional District in GA, myself and the fellow Georgians I pinged above have known this for a L-o-o-o-o-n-g time! Some of us are part of the many the crossed over to vote her out in August. The rest were involved in an active FReep of her this past May. Our counterparts over on the west side of metro Atlanta ousted her father from State Congress on September 10. The people have spoken and the terror-reign of the racist, hate-monger McNinneys is over!
Thanks for the ping, Grampa Dave. This is a very enlightening article as to the Green Party's actual agenda. Too bad it's not simply an "Earth First" agenda. The scary part is that it's actually a "Hate-America First" agenda.
I hope the author is correct in saying that our younger voters will see the Green Party for what it is. More importantly, I hope they are offended by it!
Run, Cyndy, Run!
No, I think that it's the Democrats are through with you. People are waking up and I don't care if there Democratc or Republican, if they are Democrats when they wake up they will become Republicans.....
I read this in Chuck Muths newsletter today. It could bring an interesting development for your district. Can we say SoreLoserman, Jr.? ;-)
LONG GONE from the American Prowler:
Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney, who lost in the Democratic primary to more moderate former judge Denise Majette, is saying she will tell her supporters to "sit out" the November elections in order to make life more difficult for Majette. The two didn't like each other before the primary race, and now that Majette got more Republican votes than the Republicans running in her district, she's even more reviled by McKinney. So could Republicans actually have a shot at picking up this seat in November if McKinney's people create enough of a void among Democratic voters? Probably not. The Republican nominee is Cynthia Van Auken, 56, a homemaker and small business owner. In her runoff, she garnered 1,292 votes, compared to 816 for competitor. Those numbers were so low because Republicans who crossed over to vote Democratic in the primary were barred from voting the Republican runoff.
"There's a chance that Van Auken has a better shot at pulling off an upset," says a Georgia GOP political strategist. "But McKinney is a joke now. Voters in her district aren't going to listen to her en masse. The only people who might sit it out are the far left fringe of the Democratic Party. The Congressional Black Caucus better start getting to know Majette."
I think that this is the most true portion of this piece i don't believe that the voters will listen to McKinney, but it would be nice to believe that a Republican would have a chance.....
"Dispute Arises Between Reps McKinney, Hyde:
A heated exchange between Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney and Illinois Representative Henry Hyde kicked off a hearing about the possibility of a war with Iraq. McKinney was chastised by Hyde for making an opening statement without having been recognized. McKinney said Hyde is trying to stifle the voices of the members of Congress. Lawmakers must decide whether to back the President's request for a use of force to remove Iraqi President Saddam Hussein from power. Many on Capitol Hill say the resolution is too broad to pass as is."
I guess even on Capital Hill they will be glad to get rid of ole Jihad Cindy!!
Typical McNinney claptrap. I'm surprised her daddy didn't rise up and call him a "racist J-E-W."
