They never said that. That was speculation on the part of the police and the media.

So there story was consistent through-and-through? Can anyone else validate this? The media is so quick to break anything. What ever happened to holding the media accountable for the information they presented? Why don't these guys sue the media? I suppose the ACLU wouldn't be interested in helping, so that's probably my answer.
