Interesting posting. You are correct regarding the target rich environment of the Port of LA and Long Beach. I still feel that a more likely scenario is a smuggled device into the Port of LA. As you appropriately point out, the oil refining operations are hugely important to our economy and is the destination of Alaskan crude. So, local FBI has to be diligent in observing for threats against those operations.
