In his radio address yesterday, Bush called on Americans to urge their Senators to support the creation of the Department of Homeland Defense. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: (From yesterday's radio address) As Democrat Senator Zell Miller said, the daunting task of securing this country is almost incomprehensible. Let's not make it more difficult by tying this President's hands and the hands of every President who comes after him.

NNNNNNOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo! LOL, did you see the coverage on Fox. W was so good with those kids. Got right down on their level, gave them his undivided attention and made them feel so special. Sure hope all their parents had their video cams on.

I just got finished reading The Dose from Friday. I am sincerely touched by the prayers and good wishes from so many of you! Thank you so much!
Everyone in my family is fine, and thankfully although there was property damage there were no serious injuries or fatalities. As the Indianapolis paper said, "MIRACLE."
Lots of damage though, and a very frightening time, not to mention the loss of power. But everything is settling down.
Thanks to so many of you for your concern. I am proud to call you friends.

We're just glad you're ok. We were very worried for a bit of time!

President Bush is just the best. I just love this man!
No, I didn't see it on Fox (because of course the TV set is turned on to (and still is) football all day on Sunday. I don't complain though because I love football too.
However, the Raiders had a bye week this week, so I haven't been glued to the tube like usual. ;-)
