He's mad he didn't get to make history. Otoh, if he had been Al Qaeda would probably be mounting homocide bombings every couple of days in U.S cities while Al begged the U.N for permission to defend ourselves...

Funniest STUPID GORE thing I ever saw.
He must have been taking Clinton's advice on this speech.
Clinton of course using Gore's desire for advice to write him off the next Presidential ticket in favor of his wife, or an alternate choice of his own.
Buh bye Gore!

Mullah Ali'Gore-ah speaks again. Where's the beard -- I thought the beard was regulation Taliban. Al Gore's erstwhile beard wasn't Taliban style. It was the kind of beard a man would grow who was too depressed to shave.

Isn't this the guy who squashed an Airline Security investigation in the 90's because of a $100,000 donation to the DNC.
And the best part is, where's the %#@&'n media. I guess they have the collective memory of an Ameba.

It's too bad USA Today didn't include a transcript of the Q & A.
The question is posed "is the Bush administration conducting the Iraq operation for political purposes, in light of the upcoming midterm elections?"
Gore begins his answer by claiming that his policy is to avoid making such insinuations. He then almost immediately states in unambiguous terms that Pres. Bush DOES have the political interests of his Presidency and his congressional delegation in mind in the timing and conduct of the war against terrorism. He goes on to demand that the Republicans eliminate any reference to the war against terrorism in their campaign activities.
I really wish people could see this one exchange, because it so perfectly epitomizes Gore's sanctimonious, hypocritical two-faced personality.

I'm not thrilled about terrorism, not a little bit. I think I'd rather be fighting terrorism, the Middle East kind than trying to live under the iron hands of al-Gore-mhad and/or HaaMsClinton. Even the thought of a dual ticket raises every hair on my ample body. I'm shuddering and can't stop.

does this include the commercial break msncvhyeudbc went to during this 'landmark' speech?
i noticed that The AL2000ver2 made his speech after Rush went off the air

Good set of "key words"! What a pathetic pile of bovine fecal matter that sorry excuse of a former VP is/was/always will be. I'm sure he advanced the ball for the demos with that awful speech yesterday -- I hope tens of millions of Americans saw the highlights because it is a useful reminder of how close this country was to having a disaster for a President elected in 2000.

The Clinton/Gore team talked tough and acted weak in the face of UBL/al Qaida attacks, thereby emboldening them to launch the September 11 massacre. They changed US policy vis a vis Iraq to one of "regime change" and got the Congress to endorse this. Then, of course, they hid behind the skirts of the UN and did nothing. Now we have a President who will clean up the messes left by Clinton/Gore. Al Gore, meanwhile, makes an appeal to the far left of the Democratic party. He may win the renomination battle with this ploy; I trust he will lose the war. The man is a disgrace to America--he should move to Germany.
