[history]
Former President Jimmy Carter said he thought President George W. Bush's policy in the Middle East was damaging existing relations in the region. Carter was visiting the University on behalf of the rededication of the Miller Center, which he praised as a leader in presidential history.

Former Presidents who have been thoroughly proven by history to have been total idiot babes-in-the-woods, should be seen and not heard.

The Democrats are all reading from the same script. We have to bow down to the U.N., completely abolish our sovereignty.
And they wonder why Dubya's poll ratings have risen lately?

Poor boy, tortured forever by how irrelevant he is. He had his chance, and blew it completely. Pointed his finger at the American public and blamed us for "malaise". Gave away the Panama Canal, built with American blood and sweat. Shades of Bill Clinton. But I must thank him for waking me up, as he was the first, and last, Democrat I ever voted for. Jimmah SUCKS. A waste of oxygen.

Al and Jimmuh are "speaking out" on Iraq and the Mideast to get the neo-liberal radical anti-war opinion in the media because the only elected democrats willing to go against the Presidents pre-emptive action strategery are from communist districts.

He was quiet for a while after Reagan won, but when Clinton started dumping on GW, the old fool became rejuvinated.
Carter is pure socialist scum. I hope he chokes on a peanut shell.

Carter's key comment here is that Presidencies alternate between one and two terms. If they do not, by a Bush win, then his was a failed Presidency and not a historical norm. That is why he is poisoning the well. Like Clinton, it is all about him and his legacy.

Former presidents, like spoiled children, should be seen but not heard. There are a couple I'd just as soon not see either...

Former presidents, like spoiled children, should be seen but not heard. Actually, when I was reading this I was trying to think of similar criticism delivered by a Republican President, of a sitting President. I couldn't recall any examples.

Wonder if Jimmy's donors have anything to do with Jimmy's opinions? Inquiring minds want to know.

"He said he thought Bush would not be reelected." Ah, this from the visionary who thought HE'D serve two terms.
What a fool.

Carter critizing President Bush. That's rich.
This coming from second worst president in history.
Let him keeping talking, he just continues to make an ass out of himself.
Doesn't Jimbo have a house he should be building.

He added that if war was necessary, a president needed to form a coalition of allies and work through the United Nations.
"Departure from those traditions is a great challenge and a great danger to our country," he said.So Jimmy would have worked to form a coalition, and sought UN approval, as those soviet warheads were coming down on American cities?
Notice that any democRAT screwup is now considered a "tradition" that Bush is bound to observe. Funny, but my copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights doesn't have the word "tradition" in it. During this "debate", the RATs keep inventing new rules that Bush is supposedly violating.
I wish Billy Carter was still around. He was obviously the brains in the Carter administration, and his opinion would carry more weight than dimbulb Jimmy.

Not to mention it was built with our MONEY. We BOUGHT the land the PC sits on, it's OURS.
