Democratic Gov. Gray Davis defended himself against new attacks from Republican opponent Bill Simon over his fund-raising practices, declaring, "Mr. Simon is in no position to give anyone lectures about ethics."
At a campaign stop Tuesday in Sunnyvale, Simon took Davis to task over a San Jose Mercury News report that the governor had postponed a fund-raiser later that day involving a Palo Alto-based technology advocacy group.

Gee, now there's a powerful statement on Gray-out's rock solid moral convictions. Perhaps he should demonstrate his own high ethical code instead of proclaiming that his opponent is no better than he is.

Ol' Gray is probably STILL talking to himself!And this is a GOOD thing.

That was EXACTLY what happened today in Long Beach!
The "Chicken Man" and the "eGray Hooker" were on hand at the Long Beach Convention Center to greet Davis at the annual "Governor's Conference for Women."We decided to call it a day at about half past noon, when the crowd outside died down, and THEN IT HAPPENED...Davis was scheduled to address a luncheon crowd from noon to 1:30 pm - we thought.
The two of us FReeped them from their morning break at 11:30 am to about half past noon:
the GIANT, bright yellow, fuzzy "Chicken Man" - witha a sign that said, "Gray Davis: debate DODGER!"Not much advance notice. No press release. No camera! :(
and
the "eGray Hooker" with my sign that says, "Will work for BRIBE$!"
VERY litte media.
KNX newsradio was there, sort of.
An ABC-7 TV truck was there (but the cameraman was INSIDE the building) because one of their reporter-ettes was getting an award.

Here is a FReep report from the "Chicken Man" himself (via e-mail):
Today Ron (the Davis hooker) and Chicken Man (Cluck Cluck) dressed as a hooker and chicken to attend and demonstrate at the Long Beach Convention Center women's conference to welcome Governor (can't get enough money) Davis.LOL!Hundreds of people saw this demonstration and they laughed.
Several came over to note they already know that Davis is a crook.At the end, chicken man and hooker decided to leave.
At his car, chicken man noticed the governors limo and his CHP escort.
Still the chicken man, the Cluck Cluck stood in front of the Governors vehicle, with the Governor apparently making fund raising calls (why else would he be on the phone?)
Finally, the door opened, and out came the Davis money machine.Immediately Chicken man spoke--The Governor looked green, but not with money and then had to walk up three flights of outside steps to get into the Convention Center--with a melody lingering in his ears--

We were only two, but we were an "Army of TWO!" - and Davis got FReeped!IMHO, Gray Davis is emotionally unstable, and we need to keep him OFF-BALANCE, off his game, and making stupid mistakes!
The NEXT time, we need to get all of this on VIDEO!!!
