But I'm still a Republican because of those other issues, and I am willing support Republicans who might dissgree with me on those issues.
I do not consider disagreements on an issue to be an attack on me personally. I just want the issue solved, and I believe part of the solution is a partial amnesty. I've got the maturity to let a disagreement slide to get the more important things (like control of the House and Senate) done.
The question is, do you have it?

I have to correct myself on one thing - about 35 to 40% of Republicans in the House went along with a partial amnesty (including Tom DeLay, Henry Hyde, and others with pretty good conservative credentials), so I consider myself in good company.
I should say I'm not with the Tancredobots. Much more accurate.

But the invoking of demonstrably false Sierra Club propaganda to support one's case doesn't exactly make me believe the arguer is a conservative. As if a RINO like YOU is a conservative or even knows what conservative means. LOL.

Great Ceaser's ghost!
60% to 65% of the House Republicans are Tancredobots?

We had tons of immigration prior to the 1921 and 1924 acts - hell, they were open frigging borders (well, the only things that got one kicked out involved CONDUCT or disease). They assimilated just fine, thank you. Once again you are confusing illegal immigration with legal immigration. Please look up the word illegal and study it until you understand it completely and are able to tell the difference between legal and illegal. Maybe it is your disregard for the law and the rights of law-abiding citizens that is confusing you?

But we had NO LIMITS until 1921 or 1924. Limited from 1921 to 1924 you say?

You've spent an awful lot of time on the internet today. Bet someone else in your office is going to get tired of carrying your weight and quit.
What do you call someone that can't stand doing the work you get paid to do? Oh yeah, "jackass".

Nope, they are being told not to move. If you see an illegal crossing 50 yards from you, "Don't Move". Baloney. Prove it.

The "amnesty" covers those that the Border Patrol failed to stop in the first place and yet they feel stymied? The amnesty covers illegal aliens that the Border Patrol has apprehended 20,30,40 times. The amnesty covers illegal aliens that Border Patrol Agents are ordered not to catch. This is why Agents feel stymied.

This shell game goes on and on.
The immigration issue has real gravitas here in distasteful ways.
