There has been no new proposals, This is just an attempt to divide the right. We will see many stories like this leading up to the mid-term elections. The RATS are divided big time and the left needs to divide us. This is nothing but an attempt to drive a wedge, pure and simple

Since there is no way to determine if the quotes are accurate given the lack of a link the post seems to be of little value. The "amnesty" covers those that the Border Patrol failed to stop in the first place and yet they feel stymied? That sounds like whining.

If you're going to dawn the tin-foil, would you at least come up with a coherant theory. Who is it that's not going to get elected because of this story that "divides us"? LOL, do you guys even think before you post this stuff. Name one candidate.

There is a very real concern among people (most surveys put support for controlling our borders and stopping illegals at numbers above 80%) for this issue. The Republican Party leadership seems to support those who want the cheap labor and larger markets that illegals provide.

Maybe the parties need to realign since the Republican Party is not concerned about these and other "way of life" issues. Maybe it finally is time to vote third party. The wedge is being driven by those who arrogantly continue to treat US borders as an inconvenient joke.

There has been no new proposals

You don't need new proposals, when you have close to a dozen bills already pending on the floor of the House and Senate.

It is a fact that the vast majority of INS law enforcement is sick of Bush trying to past Amnesty, and letting the INS be run by open border idiots.

The Dems don’t have to try and divide, Bush already did that.
