What's Turk gonna say except come up with excuses and rationales for Turkey's role in supporting the US. Don't forget Turks are Muslims and exist in a paranormal paranoid denial universe in which the genocide of millions of Christians never took place.

Turkey has for far too long been given a pass when it comes to being a marvelously easy way of transhipping everything from nuclear stuff to heroin to ... The best thing the US could do is to stop sending them armaments and start sending them instead to the Kurds and Greeks who have been patient too long and faithful allies without much respect in return.

Thanks for the articles about the Turks' nuclear bazaars. Muslim Turks have been getting a free pass for too long.

Subject: Let's Roll

Let's Roll.................

"JESUS HELP ME"
The Faith of Todd Beamer

"I don't think we're going to get out of this thing.
I'm going to have to go out on faith."

It was the voice of Todd Beamer, the passenger
... and Wheaton College graduate ... who said,
"Let's roll" as he led the charge against the
terrorists who hadhijacked United Flight 93,
the one, you will remember, that crashed in
the Pennsylvania countryside.

The whole world knows how brave Beamer
and his fellow passengers were on September 11th.
But this week we learned more fully what buttressed
that bravery: Faith in Jesus Christ.
Todd died as he lived . a faithful evangelical believer.

In an article titled "The Real Story of Flight 93,"
Newsweek reveals gripping new details from the
actual transcripts of the now-recovered cockpit
voice recorder. "Todd had been afraid,"
Newsweek relates.

"More than once, he cried out for his Savior."

After passengers were herded to the back of the
jet, Beamer called the GTE Customer Center
in Oakbrook, Illinois . He told supervisor Lisa
Jefferson about the hijacking. The passengers
were planning to jump the terrorists, he said.
And then he asked her to pray with him.

As Newsweek relates .
"Beamer kept a Lord's Prayer bookmark in his
Tom Clancy novel, but he didn't need any
prompting. He began to recite the ancient litany,
and Jefferson joined him:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name."

As they finished, Beamer added,
"Jesus, help me."

And then, Beamer and his fellow passengers
prayed a prayer that has comforted millions
down through the centuries . the prayer that
David wrote in a time of great anguish:
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want ...
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil.

And then the famous last words:
"Are you guys ready? Let's roll."

We now know from the cockpit voice recorder
that Beamer and other passengers wrestled with
the hijackers and forced the plane to crash into
the ground, killing themselves but foiling what
was believed to have been the hijackers' plan to
fly Flight 93 into the Capitol or the White House.

As Christians, we know that God can bring good
out of evil. In Todd Beamer, the world witnesses
a faith that held up in the extremity of fear.
A faith that is even now comforting his widow
and two young sons.

Lisa Beamer told NBC's Dateline,
"You know, in the Lord's Prayer, it asks us
to forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us." "As Todd prayed this prayer
in the last moments of his life, in a way," Lisa said,
"He was forgiving those people for what they were
doing, the most horrible thing you could ever do
to someone."

It wasn't Todd Beamer's job to fight terrorists.
He was just a passenger, who along with several
others, did what he didn't have to do but foiled a
terrible evil that might have been done to his country.

As Flight 93 hurtled towards destruction,
Todd Beamer could not have known that his
quiet prayers would ultimately be heard by
millions .. that the story of his last acts on
earth would be a witness to the Lord he loved
and served and a lasting example of true heroism.

HOPE YOU WILL SHARE THIS
INSPIRING STORY WITH YOUR
E-MAIL FRIENDS

Maybe it is only the cylinder that is made in Germany and the cylinder is old, pre-unification. The uranium is probably stolen material and the thieves want to cover their tracks. The stuff may have nothing to do with Germany, but it is an incriminating photo nonetheless.

Packing uranium in a taxi sounds very "Balkan" to me. They've been caught before like this. I bet this stuff came through the Balkans. The Balkans was the main hub center for illegal trade from Russia and Asia into Europe and the middle east. The illegal weapons trade and all the other illegal trades is the reason I think we invaded them, but I don't think that stops all the illegal "commodities" traffic through there. After all, we sided with the primary middle men, the KLA.

The uranium is likely packed in metalic lead lined canisters. The brownish cylinder you see is a poymer coating that is applied at the source. The germans use this extensively for alot of things to protect it during shipping and storage. It peels off like orange peel and feels like greasy rubberized plastic.

The pic I saw on CNN showed tape holding a cut in the coating together. The label is embossed on the coating usually after it is painted. I handeled alot of stuff coated like this when I was in Europe and then afterwards working for a German contractor.

I would say the origination point was West Gemany for sure. Probably stolen.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but here again we have Rep McDermott giving aid and comfort to the enemy. McDermott, D-WA, Member, Democratic Socialists of America.

Would that be the same DSA that has been accused of coordinating the anti-war/USA protests in London and W-DC this past week? Methinks so. It seems to me that Kermit McDermitt, Ritter, and the other fool (D-??) who's name escapes me, who have recently used the stage of Iraq to criticise US policy are committing gross acts of bad taste, if not sedition or even traitorism. In any event, they should be pilloried when they return to US soil. IMHO.

Interesting. If there is a cut in the coating, and then it was taped up over the cut, doesn't that mean the cylinder was opened at some time after it was sealed in the coating?

Could be! Or it could be just wear and tear. West Germany dissolved sometime ago. Any sharp object can cut the stuff but I'll bet someone wanted to see what they were buying.

[...the Iraqis have been sent by Saddam Hussein on an illicit hunt for nuclear material, particularly weapons-grade enriched Uranium-235. They are also trying to buy black market missile parts...American and Russian task forces have set up a joint command center in Moscow to coordinate the high-stakes chase...The alarm was first sounded in Washington and Moscow in early August by reports of Iraq agents splashing out with multi-million dollar offers for nuclear material. They did not take the information too seriously at first. But then came further reports that 15 Iraqi agents had split up into three groups, two covering Kazakhstan and the Ukraine and the third, Belarus.]

Seems plausible. [They did not take the information too seriously at first...

Seems VEEERY plausible.

[The American and Russian presidents put their heads together and decided their intelligence operational divisions would mount a hot pursuit of the Iraqi agents, hoping to get to them before they reached their objective.]

I'll give them credit, but only grudgingly. These folks have been f*cking up for quite some time. I hope that in the end, the complicity of leftists PC policy as advanced by the dims is brought to the light of day. This would be TRUE justice.

PS: I think Debka is spot on with this report. This is VERY LIKELY to be EXACTLY what has been going on.

G-nite, I'm sure there will be followups on this. I would guess a team is on site now. There is likely a much smaller amount of uranium then was reported. The packaging is likely heavier than the product and it could be un-enriched.

We shall see. (assuming we get the facts)

You said a mouthfull there and I agree with every word. Don't forget that a Iraqi agent (security officer) was a major contributer to the first WTC bombing.

They are up to there eyeballs in this!

While "great Scott" was over in Iraq inspecting ?????, they got to him either with blackmail or money. Of course, anybody who would work for the U.N. is already on pretty shaking ground with me. I'm not sure who I trust less, a Democrat or a UNicrat.
