What's the moral difference between a
Palistinian regime change and one in Iraq?

Islam is a Religion of Peace!

I have been wondering this myself, if they let him live and keep him locked up, the world complans, so they let him loose and more Israelis die. If they kill him, the world will moan and complain, but they will never have to let him loose and maybe, just maybe, the palestinians can elect a REAL leader who will lead them to a peaceful resolution with Israel.
Though I seriously doubt it, the only way Israel will make peace with the palies is to kick their asses so hard that the will to fight disapears.
One of them has to win an all out war, and of course it will be Israel. But, it is truly the only way that there will be an actual peace.
Kill Arafat and then if the palies riot, put them down so hard that they wouldn't dare fight again.
The world is going to condemn Israel either way, so might as well go ALL OUT!!! and do it right.

It is well past time for Arafat to have a little "accident".

IMO, the author was right when he wrote that Arafat should have been killed in 1982. However, it may now be too late. Klling Arafat now will give the antisemites of the world just too much to whine and moan about. They will have a field day, and enjoy every minute of it, blaming and excoriating Israel.
How about arresting him and putting him on trial? The evidence against him is overwhelming. Make all the evidence very public. No jury, just one or more judges.
Sentence him to life in prison and
1. Put him in solitary confinement;
2. No visitors,
3. No phones or TV;
4. Bread and water would be a nice touch.
Then, when the world goes into an insane rage, tell them that if they want him they can have him. Ask Arafat if he would rather stay where he is or go somewhere else. Let him decide. What could be fairer than that?
IMO, six months in solitary would kill the monster. And it would be "natural causes".

The same voices calling for Arafart to be spared are the same voices calling for Saddam to be spared and in an earlier time turned out to be the same voices calling for Hitler to be spared. It was said each time by all of the above that war was more dangerous than all the other options available and by the time war was waged it was nearly too late. Oh why oh why do we listen to the likes of those who have been so disastrously wrong on every count before? Appeasement will never defeat evil; only killing the dictators who perpetrate it will stop it dead in its tracks.

The question is why hasn't Ararat been offed by one of his own so as to move on with the process of peace in Israel and Lebanon? The answer is: because Ararat is an industry in and of himself in Lebanon and the world. He symbolizez the anti-Christ spirit that so many worship. He is getting old and will die soon, one way or the other. Then who to rally around? The Arabs lost ground trying to overthrow God's chosen people, out of jealousy and a dark void of enmity towards God. When Ararat goes, there will be peace for a time..and then everything changes drastically, quickly. There's nothing new under the sun. It's all in THE Book.

Arafat is increasingly irrelevant, thanks to the successful Powell-Sharon "isolation" policy. The truth is, Arafat has been legitimated by Barak, by Clinton, by the EU, and by the Nobel Committee. He is also head of a quasi-state. All those things make simply turning around and killing Arafat a very questionable proposition, poltically. Personally, I like the current strategy just fine. We can always kill him later, if it seems appropriate.
