Police detectives in the Chandra Levy murder case are focusing on a suspect initially discounted after he passed a polygraph test investigators now believe was flawed, the Washington Post reported Sunday.

Ingmar Guandique, 21, has been in prison since July 2001 -- two months after the 24-year-old intern disappeared. He was imprisoned after being convicted of assaults on two female joggers in Washington's Rock Creek Park, the paper reported.

We knew this was coming when the investigators refused to release any of the evidence to the Levy family private investigators!

Look for Ingmar to be found dead in prison as a result of jailhouse violence real soon. The patsy has been developed, the media is in compliance, and justice will be served.....

The dem protection squad is in full stream ahead mode.

I won't be at all surprised to find what you've described to actually happen.

I hope that this fine progress toward resolution finally puts to rest all the unfair criticism about the capabilities of an affirmative action police force.

Oh come on. Condit's crime is, was, and always has been his craven reaction when Levy's life was at stake. He's a lousy crumb and a despicable human being. That said,

Ingmar's at the top of my list, has been since the DC bumbles regarding him came to light.

Too many loose ends. Chandra Levy was very careful about not putting herself at risk in Washington. She wasn't the type to go out jogging in a lonely section of the park.

Whom did she go to the park to meet?

I doubt whether Condid did it himself, but it wouldn't be surprising if he put out a contract on her when she refused to fade into the woodwork like his other kinky girlfriends.

Condit had the connections: a criminal brother, biker pals, and a network of politically powerful intern-abusers that he hung out with.

Well, it's hardly likely that the DC police will find the real criminals. They've done their very best to ignore and destroy the evidence.

AND...remember that she had done a map-quest search for the park on the internet. She WAS going to meet someone, but maybe, just maybe she met Ingmar FIRST. We'll split the difference there. :o)

We agree that she had gone to the park to meet up with someone...I think that someone is probably Condit.
