Perhaps you inadvertently lumped yourself in with the "Nuke the Ragheads"... "War, War, War"... "the only good arab is a dead arab" crowd.

As long as we don't have to pay any dues then sign me up for this club! :-)...... Nuke Mecca!

It's sort of a shame that this guy wasn't around to deal with the fellas you encountered. Instead, should such a circumstance ever come my way, I'll just have to deal with them as I figure he would have...and as you did.

I believe he'd have been very pleased with you and your actions, as he noticed such things. You may now consider yourself an honourary member of his Third Army.

Seems to me that there are many on this forum who want to sit out and wait until that 'perfect' leader comes along.

I don't know any of them. I personally would support one who was going the right direction. No viable candidates exist at this time.

Unfortunately, we are all individuals and therefore we will never agree 100% on what the changes are that need to be made.

And we don't have to agree 100%. But I personally will not support any candidate who advocates, or tolerates, larger government.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here, because I don't believe that Bush advocates larger government. He's trying to clean up the mess that accumulated over 8 years of the Clinton Adminstration, when terrorists were pretty much welcomed within our borders. When I clean house, I typically tear it apart before putting it back together again. Our government cannot do this while their hands our tied out of fear our civil liberties may be imposed upon. In order to protect the country, they must have some leeway. Otherwise they may as well hand the keys over to the extremists, and give up peacefully.

Sure, from your first post, which is all Communist Party Crap:

Remeber this is a response is in defense of the 60s peace "attitude", which, according to Stanislov Lunev, and Mitroken (IIRC), were funded and organized by the KGB, CPUSA, and ISP.

(Being sarcasim, the meaning is inverted so let's translate it line by line)

Peace sucks.

We need more war.

Which has to be infered as "Give peace a chance, No More war"

More dead kids.

"Save the Children!"

BLOOD!!! GIVE US BLOOD!!!

Your saying anyone who doesn't buy into the leftist peace movement of the 60s is a blood thirsty war monger, with the typical mocking attack on the the person who harbors the Pro-US sentiments.

Quite frankly sir, your first post was nothing but a leftist boilerplate against Patriotism, even when phrased as sarcasim, the meaning is the same.

Shall I list the larger government inititives and programs HE has proposed? Not to mention the ones he has gone along with.

Our government cannot do this while their hands our tied out of fear our civil liberties may be imposed upon.

I disagree with this statement totally. Anyone who usurps my rights is my enemy, foreign or domestic.

It says volumes about their parents that they would be willing to discuss it in front of you with no embarrassment.

I dunno about that.

These parents were about as responsible and respectible as anyone I've ever met. The sister was just being a stupid kid, rebelling against everything around her.

If you have a theory for protecting this nation without inconviencing the people in the slightest bit, I'd love to hear it. I don't see that it is possible. If there were none among us with evil intentions, maybe. But since we all know that's not the case, what is the answer?

Oh gee, your right, nothing is worth going to war for. Our nation wasn't founded on any enlightend principle. All is lost, anyone who still believes this country is better than a third world cess pool is a mindless, unthinking idiot. We should have just taken your inflamitory attacks as enlightend thought. They Anti-Flag youth has all the right answeres and a complete understanding of 20 century history. MG should have asked him for voting advice. Whatever dude.

(and your "communist" assertions are too ridiculous for words)

Either you are leftist, or your a product of their propaganda. Personally, I don't care, the effect is the same.

That fits the DNC, Muslims, Libertarians, Objectivists, Christians, Keynsian economists, Hayak/Freedman/Von Mises economist, or anyone else who has conviction in what they believe.

The problem is those who decided to kill or convert their opposition.

This time it ain't us.

That is a non starter. I never implied any such thing. Classic strawman.

Didn't intend it as such. I'm asking a legitimate question. How do we protect this country without curtailing any of our civil liberties?

Oh gee, your right, nothing is worth going to war for.

First of all... the word is "you're".

It is a contraction of the words You and Are.

Secondly, I've already made it clear that the DEFENSE of the nation is certainly worth going to war for.

I've simply questioned whether the globe-trotting adventures of the US military in Somalia, The Balkans, Iraq, and the stationing of US troops in Germany, Japan, Italy, Turkey, and in fact all over the world... has anything to do with the defense of the nation.

I'd submit that these things actually run against the founders' warnings about the dangers of a standing army, and the dangers of foreign entanglements.

If you think this makes me "unpatriotic", I'd submit that your understanding of patriotism is flawed.

Then she was trolling for attention from her parents. Saying things openly which are contrary to your parents values is making a statement.

Either they were ambivilent to certain types of theft, or she was challenging someone to tell her parents that she disrespected them. If it was me, I would have obliged her, or at least confronted her on whether they had taught her that stealing was ok.
