WASHINGTON -- Hitler found "Lord Haw Haw" -- William Joyce, who broadcast German propaganda to Britain during the Second World War -- in the dregs of British extremism. But Saddam Hussein finds American collaborators among senior congressional Democrats.

Not since Jane Fonda posed for photographers at a Hanoi antiaircraft gun has there been anything like Rep. Jim McDermott, speaking to ABC's "This Week" from Baghdad, saying Americans should take Saddam Hussein at his word, but should not take President Bush at his. McDermott, in his seventh term representing Seattle, said Iraqi officials promised him and his traveling companion, Rep. David Bonior, a 13-term Michigan Democrat, that weapons inspectors would be "allowed to look anywhere."

But you are far too kind. More condign justice requires that these quisling vermin and their enablers hang a la Mussolini, by their ankles, stripped, and previously ventilated. Not to be taken down until the crows have had done with them.

McDermott and Bonior are two specimens of what Lenin, referring to Westerners who denied the existence of Lenin's police-state terror, called "useful idiots."

Its worse than that. I would have these 2 arrested at the terminal when they come back to this country and I would strip them of their citizenship.

recrudescence.

Function: noun
Date: circa 1721
: a new outbreak after a period of abatement or inactivity : RENEWAL

George is great, but I have never gotten through one of his columns without Webster.

McDermott said: "I think you have to take the Iraqis on their value -- at their face value." And: "I think the president would mislead the American people."

Traitor.

Do these cries of "traitor" apply to the Freepers who took the side of Milosevic over Clinton?

"Have you heard McD's voice? He's a definite girl."

Roger that, but aren't about 85% of the Demonazis girlymen, underneath it all? Look at John Edwards, the lawyerette from SC, more than a tad precious. And yesterday, during his extrememly bizarre press conference, the vertically and ethically challenged runt senator from NJ expressed his affection for the NJ governor [McGreasy?] in terms and tones that would have made Damon & Pythias blush. But the heavy left commie side always has attracted lots of lavender types and other freaks of nature, all the way back to the Fabian socialists, and before that for all I know.

Ends the column with a great keeper of a line --

Conservative isolationism -- America is too good for the world -- is long dead. Liberal isolationism -- the world is too good for America -- is flourishing.

Are you silly. You may say anything you wish while at home. However when in the country that war may erupt with it would be proper to watch your statements. This especially applies to elected officials who should know better. Yugoslavia was never a threat to us. And last I heard Bush has not been getting blow jobs from young subordinates and diverting attention from it by going to war. Get a clue and a brain.

saying Americans should take Saddam Hussein at his word

LOFL.

Gentle readers, this all the proof you need that Saddam is boarding his mother of all yachts to exile as we speak.
