I still don't kow whether this is "true" or not, but a couple of things come out: 1 - this is a decent "up yours" note if anything, and 2 - if it IS actually Ms. Garafalo, then it's good to see someone come over to the side of light from "the dark side."

Even I was on the "dark side" at one point...

Expect her to deny it publicly as soon as the Hollywood Democratic Mafia get a hold of her.

I don't believe for a second that she is Janeane Garofalo.

But the post is excellent.

Ii think this is a double-post, but kind of worth it to me -- I don't think the other IDed Janeane. I never, EVER would have figured her for a Repub. How interesting! SHe says on her site, though, that now that she's "outed" as Republican, she'll probably never work again!

It's well written and to the point -- and states exactly how I feel about the corrupt dems of NJ and nationally who would claim that the democratic process outweighs the law. Huh? How sleazy!

Oh-please let this be true. I always thought that Garafalo was way too bright to get suckered by the dark side for long.

BUMP for her finding her way out of the darkness.

hate to spoil the garafalo love-in (as i did on the earlier thread)... She is one of the most self righteous libs out here. that said, she is in the super twisted, and i say, brilliant comedy, 'wet hot american summer'. it is not a g rated romp, friends.

Yeah, um....

I'm doubtful on this. If Janeane Garafalo were to leave the dems I think it would be that the party drifted too far to the right for her. I doubt if she's gone home yet from the world bank protests.

If she put this out as a press release or public statement it should be easy enough to get her or her agent to confirm.

Wait a minute, you're not saying you got one of those "Michael Jackson" cosmetic jobs, are you? :)

All of the decent Democrats have left the party by now...all that is left is the putrid rotting core of mindless morons.

I don't believe this is Ms. Garafalo... I've seen her stand-up on the O'Reilly Factor. She's no republican.

What is the tie between "shilohbucher" and Janeane Garofalo?

She has been a devout leftist. Why would it be assumed that this is her?

It's NOT Janeane Garafalo, that was just a blogger's joke. Garafalo appeared this year at Central Michigan, full of leftwing feminism. Hardly Pubbie material, maybe Greens, Socialist Workers, International Workers of the World, but Pubbies?

"The authorship of this is important. But it doesn't detract from the fact that the words themselves are powerful and true and beautifully written. Whoever wrote this is damn talented and should be writing their own play."

Umm. I don't know how Janeane Garafalo's name got attached to this, but a few minutes of research reveals that Shiloh Bucher is a grad student of Public Affairs in Austin.

From a very recent Rolling Stone:

It seems like Bush sees the presidency as a steppingstone to some job he really wants, like commissioner of baseball.

I feel that all he has ever wanted was to own a sports team and live the life of a privileged guy. And then somehow, through some kind of miscommunication, I guess, he wound up getting the Republican nomination. I bet he was as bummed as anyone that John McCain didn't get it. And then he was probably praying that Al Gore would win the whole recount. He was like, "Please, God, please God," and probably got a big anxiety boil on his face. Now that he's president, I think Bush looks as depressed and upset as anyone would in that situation. It's too much stress.

Have any of you made the comparison between the governor of Fla and the Governor of NJ during the two shameless DNC attempts to subvert the laws of their states.

Jeb Bush kept completely in the background, not taking any sides, while McGreevy, shameless led the conspiracy in NJ.

Even though Jeb's brother was involved, I feel he would have taken the same approach no matter who it was. OTH in NJ here is a gov who led the attack on his own state laws. This is a fellow who the state of NJ should work very hard to put out him out of office. He is an embarrasment to the state.
