Slow response time, not enough capacity, "fair access policies", too expensive, etc. I'll buy into all of that, but since I'm semi-rural, I can't get access short of dialup without going to SAT., which I am currently pondering on DirecWay. Even my "conditioned" line for dialup (which ain't cheap), I get 28.8 max. While 400k isn't T1, it's blazing beyond my dialup. The big downer for me and SAT., I have to dedicate a WIN98 PC and use MS ICS for multiple drops, and that restricts my NT Box from access. What's a body to do? Blackbird.
