do you have contacts that indicate Fox will interview Schippers next week?

I have no contacts with Fox News and there is no guarantee that there will be a Fox News interview with Schippers, only it is under consideration.

I can tell you that even if the most knowledgeable man in America on the OKC bombing can't post on Freerepublic, Fox News is interested in what Patrick Briley has to say on the subject.

Great!

One bullet Arlen Specter, the fool, will grind this one into the dust.

If it weren't for Rick Santorum, Pennsylvania wouldn't have an excuse for representation in the Senate.

I wonder if Specter will try and get Ira Einhorn off.

If Specter weren't a RINO, he might glance at FR and give me the chance to tell him to BITE ME, Arlen!

Anyway, JimRob informed me that he received complaints from people, including Jayna Davis, that material was inaccurate.

A split did develope between Jayna Davis and OKCSubmariner last year after years of collaboration.

OKCSubmariner's postion has always been that all those responsible for the OKC bombing must be brought to justice and all the individuals that participated in the cover up must be held accountable.

Jayna Davis appears not ready to damage the institutions of government by exposing the cover up. Her single focus has been to identify the Middle Eastern participants in the OKC bombing and work to bring them to justice.

Jayna's goals are realistic, Pat's goals are idealistic; hence, the disagreement. Both should be commended for the quality of their work.

I should add that it is logically inconsistent to argue that there was a Middle Eastern connection to the OKC bombing and at the same time suggest their was no criminal cover up by the DOJ.

Thanks for your info. And please, note I was in no way trying to insinuate that Briley is bad or anything; I just was saying what was told to me. If there were any mistakes, it would be inadvertent. And it is possible that the reported mistakes were not, but the people being talked about did not like it and that is why they complained about it. I was simply reporting what was said to me so we can hear all sides of this.

I have privately urged and now I publicly urge David Schippers and Paul Bedard to release the names of these two other government officials. I have also urged Schippers to release the Herb Johnson letter publicly.

And I have also urged David Schippers to come forward with the evidence Schippers has of the involvement in the OKC bombing by the Iraqi mercenary (paid by Saddam Hussein) and AlQaeda lieutenant, Khalid Mohammed. Khalid Mohammed was also the mastermind of the 1993 WTC and 9/11 attacks. Witnesses known to Schippers have come forward to say that Khalid was in OKC to assist the OKC bombing twice: Once in 1994 for Khalid Mohammed to escort the Iraqi Al Hussaini to OKC from Boston; the other in 1995, for Khalid Mohammed to be paid by Al Hussaini's employer Dr. Samir Khalil, a Hamas operative still protected in OKC by the FBI, DOJ and CIA.

Khalid was living with his nephew, Ramzi Youseff, in the Philippines when Khalid helped Yousef meet with Terry Nichols to plan the OKC bombing. The FBI, CIA and DOJ learned of the OKC plot in the Philippines in February 1995.

It is necessary during the public debate on possible war with Iraq to have these four government officials publicly identified and to have publicly revealed Iraq and Khalid Mohammed's involvement in the OKC bombing (and the 1993 WTC and 9/11 attacks).

I have personally made John Solomon of the AP in DC and William Jasper, editor of The New American Magazine aware of the facts and details of this article especially the facts about the four government officials and Khalid Mohammed. OKC attorney Mike Johnston (filed lawsuit against Iraq for OKC bombing victims) has also urged Solomon and Jasper to write about this information. I hope and expect they will now move forward very soon to publish articles telling America about Iraq's and Khalid Mohammed invovlement, the stories of the four officials inside the US government and the DOJ cover-up.

I have also urged Jo Thomas of the NY Times and Micah Morrison of the WSJ to publish the details I gave them for over two months about Khalid Mohammed's involvement in the OKC bombing case.

I understand completely. The split between Pat and Janya over the subject of the DOJ connivance left a lot of hard feelings, unfortunately.

I will add again I have no contacts at Fox News, but I would suggest that for all regular viewers of Bill O'Reilly and Hannity that are interested in the OKC bombing, they should make an extra effort to watch these programs in the coming week.

4 US Officials Describe Iraqi Involvement in OKC Bombing

by Patrick B. Briley

October 3, 2002

A Pentagon civilian official has provided a formal affidavit stating that the Pentagon official viewed a surveillance tape video showing a Ryder truck and its occupants moments before it was used to bomb the Murrah Federal Building in OKC on April 19, 1995. The official further states that the Pentagon official saw in the video a Middle Eastern man closely resembling the Iraqi and McVeigh accomplice, Al Hussaini, exiting the Ryder truck when it was parked in front of the Murrah Building.

A copy of the official's affidavit is in the possession of Chicago attorney David Schippers, the attorney for the House Managers during the Clinton impeachment proceedings.

Another Pentagon official in the office of Assistant Secretary of State, Paul Wolfowitz, has told investigators for Paul Bedard of US News and World Report and also David Schippers that McVeigh and his Iraqi accomplice, Al Hussaini, both called the same Iraqi phone number prior to the OKC bombing. The official also criticized the FBI and DOJ for a cover-up of the Iraqi connection to the OKC bombing for years.

Former Pentagon terrorism advisor Jesse Clear briefed the legal counsels for the Senate Intelligence (Joan Grimson) and the Senate Judiciary (Kolan Davis) Committees on the OKC bombing with my full knowledge and participation in 1997 and 1999 respectively. Clear told the counsels of the Middle Eastern connection and of the FBI and DOJ cover-up in the OKC bombing case. With Clear's permission, I wrote a letter to the editor of The New American magazine in 1998 describing Clear's briefing of Kolan Davis in Senator Grassley's office in 1997 which I attended and took part in. Clear was allowed to edit my letter to the magazine before it was published with only very minor changes.

Herb Johnson was the chief advisor and former chief of staff for Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe. Johnson wrote a letter for Edmond, Oklahoma attorney Dan Nelson in September 1998 describing the DOJ cover-up of the Middle East connection to the OKC bombing. Johnson stated that the head of the FBI command post in OKC told Johnson that the DOJ had ordered the FBI within 74 hours of the OKC bombing to keep the public from learning the details of the Middle Eastern involvement in the OKC bombing.

I spoke directly to Senator Inhofe about the Herb Johnson letter in January 1999 and urged Inhofe to go public with the letter. Senator Inhofe has not gone public with the letter to this day. I arranged for attorney David Schippers to learn of and obtain a copy of the Herb Johnson letter.

Within the same time frame as reported by Herb Johnson (about 74 hours after the OKC bombing), the FBI threatened three Army Recruiters if they went public about the recruiters seeing John Does with McVeigh in the Murrah building. These recruiters were interviewed by a freelance journalist and retired Marine Colonel who worked on the staff of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. I have also spoken to one of the recruiters myself.

Former FBI agent Gary Aldrich personally advised me over three years ago that I would not succeed in getting anything done about the OKC bombing cover-up until I was able to get someone inside the government to come forward publicly.

Well, today, in compliance with Aldrich's advice, I have identified four government officials who were inside the government and who have written about the DOJ cover-up of the Iraqi and Middle Eastern connection to the OKC bombing.

Will I now get something done about the cover-up as Aldrich predicted I should be able to do? Time will tell.

Two of the men are identified by name, Jesse Clear and Herb Johnson (Senator Inhofe). One of the other man's name is known to David Schippers and Paul Bedard of US News and World Report and is in Wolfowitz's office. The other man's name is known to David Schippers and is the author of the affidavit concerning the Ryder truck surveillance tape.

I have also urged Jo Thomas of the NY Times and Micah Morrison of the WSJ to publish the details I gave them for over two months about Khalid Mohammed's involvement in the OKC bombing case.

America has the right of self defense against Iraq for the Iraq aided attack on the Murrah building and the deaths of 169 innocent Americans. The right of self-defense is the strongest possible argument for the American government to use to persuade the American public, the Congress and potential allies to support America when America needs to take whatever action is necessary to defend herself from Iraq. Even if the American government still refuses in its persuasive arguments to use knowledge of the Iraqi involvement in the OKC bombing and the 1993 WTC and 9/11 attacks, the American public still has the right to know of the Iraqi aggression on innocent Americans and the right to demand that American government leaders reveal what they know about Iraqi aggression and take protective action against Iraq.

When OKC first started posting about this I was a little unsure about the connection to the Middle East. The more I read the more that I was convinced that he knew what he was posting was true. He even provided links to copies of the 302's (I think that's what they're called). I sat up nights reading them. That was when I was convinced that he KNEW what he was talking about. Everthing started to fit concerning a coverup.

As we all know it's NOT a far stretch to believe our government would hide something from us especially during the Clinton reign of terror. What makes this country the greatest in the world is the ability of regular everyday citizens to question and hold accountable those in power. Just because two people disagree about the way it should be brought to the public's attention shouldn't keep one person from voicing their opinion. I thought that was why this forum was created. Not to silence people with whom we disagree.

I really miss OKC's sharing his information with us.

JimRob has posted, many times, the rules about tin foil hat postings. OKCSub had been around a long time, long enough to read them all. Mr. Robinson has also addressed why tin foil hat postings will get a FReeper banned.

I didn't see the post that led to the banning. But to say OKC should be allowed to stay in the circumstances is like saying the Senate did right by Bill Clinton, because, after all, the rules by which the place is run don't mean anything when one considers the overwhelming balance of things that he did well.

Checked today's Philadelphia Inquirer and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Not a word about this, which isn't suprising. But I did find this:Bush Steps Back On Regime Change. Here are the relevant paragraphs:

"Most of this past week, President Bush talked less about removing Saddam and more about making sure Iraq does not possess any chemical, biological or nuclear weapons."

"Secretary of State Colin Powell, working the complex diplomatic corridors of the United Nations to get tougher U.N. weapons inspections in Iraq, never referred to overthrowing Saddam. He set the U.S. goal as disarmament and left open the possibility that Saddam would remain in power."

"Meanwhile, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer announced the "one-bullet" initiative, suggesting that Saddam's internal opponents take out their boss. "Regime change is welcome in whatever form it takes," Fleischer said, going on to contradict Powell by calling it "unrealistic" to think that Saddam could stay in office.

There's that "single-bullet" theory again.(This might be Bush-- or Ari's idea of a joke, or a message, keep reading.)

"The White House was heartened last week when House Democratic leader Richard Gephardt, D-Mo., signed onto a proposed resolution authorizing the use of force in Iraq as long as Bush certifies to Congress that diplomatic efforts aimed at disarming Iraq had failed.Gephardt's move insured the resolution's passage in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives and undermined Democrats in the Senate who were still pressing the White House for concessions"

Morality ping to Richard Gephardt.

"Democrat Joe Biden of Delaware said his effort to craft a Senate resolution requiring Bush to give more weight to diplomacy was "cut off at the knees." Biden said he would have had 51 votes -- enough for passage -- if the administration had not "got Gephardt" first. Biden will offer pieces of his proposal as an amendment to Gephardt's deal."

Fifty-one votes, huh? Wonder how many of those are from Republicans? And who they are? Anyway, here's the important part--what the opposition in the senate is planning to do:

" The Senate is slated to vote this week on two amendments designed to link Bush's authority more closely to action by the United Nations and to "tie down what we are authorizing," said Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle."

"Daschle said the deal struck between Bush and Gephardt gives the president too much leeway to wage war. He said he'd vote for Biden's amendment, which is cosponsored by Republican Richard Lugar of Indiana. Sens. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, Chris Dodd of Connecticut and John Kerry of Massachusetts also support the amendment, Biden said."

"Lugar, respected in both parties for his foreign policy expertise, said he's convinced there will be "unity of purpose" in Congress but that "much diplomatic work needs to be done." The goal must be to eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, he said."

"And the United States must have partners if we are to deal successfully with the myriad of complications that will be present in a post-war Iraq."

Myriad of complications, to be sure.

It seems clear to me that Specter is waving the OKC Bombing stuff around in Bush's face. This could be happening for one of two reasons: If Bush chooses to invade Iraq, and continues to say nothing re: OKC, the OKC Bombing investigation could suddenly develop "legs," as someone put it. And those "legs" might well kick the Bush administration around quite a bit.

On the other hand, if Bush does choose to start talking about Oklahoma City, there's going to be a tremendous amount of political fallout, most of it on the democratic side. Since Arlen Specter often votes with the democrats, this could be a big CYA move. Could his suddenly renewed interest in the OKC Bombing have something to do with Bush's scheduled Tuesday night speech to the nation about Iraq? To quote Specter: "Who knows?"

Read this, Jim Rob, and tell me if what I said about Arlen Specter isn't true. This is typical of Specter, and why he might be termed a "genius." (No adjectives for now).

Specter knows. They all know. And it isn't going to make a damn bit of difference. There isn't going to be any war with Iraq without this stuff coming out first. Mark my words.

Has anybody considered the possibility that if it doesn't come out of the U.S., it could come from Iraq?Sadaam Hussein has received quite a bit of press in the last week talking about the "lies told by the U.S. government." It's not beyond the realm of possibility that Hussein has made it clear through "diplomatic channels" that if any bombs get dropped on Iraq, the U.S. might not like the response --without any chemical or nuclear weapons ever being launched.

But don't mistake what I'm saying. I must mention a prescient and perhapse even cryptic remark from Bush today on CNN --that Americans are "finally beginning to realize the true nature of the threat posed by Sadaam Hussein." He sounded very sad when he said it.

It might be that he wants to tell the truth about Oklahoma City, in his own good time (like after the election in November, when he can't be accused of politicking) but can't get a war against Iraq started without the support of "certain" members of Congress, who might prefer that a different version of the "truth" be told, if it has to be told at all.

This is why NOT all republicans should automatically be re-elected, Jim.

Since this is Sunday morning, all I can say is pray, pray, pray and in the meantime, keep sending those emails.

And just in case anyone wants Specter's email address, here it is:arlen_specter@specter.senate.gov

You might not be aware that Specter is a native Oklahoman.

P.S.

I pinged to this post because I think it is important that a lot of people who might not understand all the implications here read the thread posted in #50. It is a long one, but it's the one that helped me understand an awful lot of things about these case and why they aren't being made public.

The article linked in post #51 also contains what I consider to be further, somewhat shocking confirmation of some of the stuff we suspected all along. I had never read that exact interview before, it is certainly worth perusing.

Honway, it is great to hear that Pat (OKCSubmariner) might be on Fox.I would suggest that any freepers who think this might be a good idea to email them at Comments@foxnews.com You can also email individual hosts if you go to the Fox news website. They do read the mail there.

caught the tale end of Smerconish"s talk show just the other day with Jayna Davis and I *swear* he said he got no where with Specter. Wonder what has changed since then?

I imagine the feds are torn up over their own incompetence -- just another "man who knew" scandal. I'm sure Bush would love to shove another knife into the reputation of Clinton, and at the same time get some reinforcement against Iraq. But it involves humiliating the FBI one more time, and there are probably some genuinely good people involved who went along with Bubba.

It may also be amatter of timing. Since nothing is actually proven, it may be better to wait until congress votes on Iraq, then pull this out as reinforcement -- just before the eletion.

FWIW, I have noticed an enormous uptick in the volume of stories breaking across the web- to the point I'm having trouble following them all. This has been going on for about 10 days running.
