I'm just not buying the Tarot card or the lone nut theory.
Two reasons. One, the gbmnt's history of blaming conservative whites for everything on earth. Two, the sniper(s) have shown too much discipline.

If they are dead sure it's a gang of AQ or Iraqis they will die before they tell us. All the evidence that points to Iraq on the Murrah bldg and it would seem hugely in Bush's interest to go with it but he won't.

I hear what you're saying, but I don't find that he's been that disciplined if he can't even manage to police up his brass or refrain from leaving a message to the cops.

I don't care what color he is or who he votes for- I mean he's bound to be one color or the other and bound to lean politically one way or the other. If he's a white conservative- he's a white conservative, I care not. All I want them to do is find the guy and put him behind bars or hopefully shoot him when he resists capture- before he can kill again.

I just like to base my supposition on cofirmed fact. For several days it was common knowledge that all the shots were head shots and latter on we learn that there were torso shots from almost the first victim. This Tarot Card thing needs to be confirmed before we base too much speculation on it.

I disagree. You're only reacting to the "one shot, one victim" aspect, and saying that only trained terrorists would be able to be so disciplined.

However, it is completely consistent with a certain flavor of nutjob -- for instance, one who says, "I am God." If we take this as some guy's twisted idea of sport, the whole thing is easily explained.

And as I've said several times before -- these shootings do not require elaborate planning. They require only an eye for a good killing spot; a willingness and ability to kill; and the ability to calmly take a right turn into traffic and drive slowly off as an anonymous vehicle in the crowd.

If the tarot card report is correct, it confirms something else I said: that the guy is now trying to increase the thrill. I predict that he'll begin moving closer to the targets, and giving himself less margin for escape. He'll also spread out the shootings over days or weeks in hopes of maintaining the terror level.
