Speaking from the Roosevelt Room at the White House, President Bush thanked the House for passing an Iraq resolution by a vote of 296-133. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle shocked many today as he crossed party lines that he had drawn a few weeks ago, and decided to back the President's plan. The White House also announced today that Bush will be traveling a lot between now and November 5th, traveling to key election states such as South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan and Florida. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: The United States is committed to helping make the world more peaceful and more just. We are committed to freedom for all. We're also committed to protecting human dignity, and today's vote is an important step toward fulfilling those great American commitments.

Thanks for the Bush quote. I heard it live at 1 pm (PST) when he was responding to the House passing his request for authority to use the military in Iraq. It was a delightful little speech - he so clearly understood the values of freedom and human dignity that America stands for.

We are blessed to have him as President.

We're also blessed to have this Daily Dose - thanks, rintense.

I am sure there are others who have helped too, but I have noticed reminders about the fund raiser from Bush Babe Mo1 on almost every thread I have visited lately. Nice going, MO1!

Thanks again for your great work here. What a wonderful day this has been. It still angers me so much to hear these anti-U.S. people complaining about the innocent lives we will destroy. Why don't they consider the innocent lives that were destroyed here and the number of decades it will take for some of these survivors to heal. God bless President Bush. By the way, Republicans are doing great in Texas !!!

We all need to give Mo1 a special thanks for all the work she did on the fundraising threads. That was over and above the call of duty.

Do we have some kind of special medal we could award :o)
