Most Minnesotans will have their first opportunity to directly compare Sen. Paul Wellstone with his challenger, former St. Paul Mayor Norm Coleman, when they debate on the KTCA-Channel 2 program "Almanac" at 7 tonight.
As recently as Wednesday morning, Wellstone was refusing to participate unless the Independence and Green Party candidates were included, which KTCA was unwilling to do. But Wellstone reversed himself later in the day.
