Peace is secured through total miltary victory. Jimmy could not win a war if he tried.

What an excuse for a prize winner. He makes me so angry when he speaks out against the country that he tried to "lead". He's also a sorry excuse for an x-president. Reminds me of someone else who's an "x"!

He is now in the same class as Yasser Arafat, and Ho Chi Minh, who have won the prize. CNN has talked to the prune for the last two hours. Perfect fit.

Mine was accepted. And the reply: would be checked by the editor, and possibly displayed in a few hours...

Carter deserves the Alan Alda award for phony women's perfect milquetoast man.

In a way he's worse. He likes to pretend he's above it all.

I think he takes his initials "J.C." way too serious.

You beat me to it. Reagan and Thatcher did more for world peace and human rights ("Peace Through Strength") than Carter and 1,000 other Carters can ever accomplish by leftist whining. Just think of Afghanistan and Iran, and countless countries sinking into communism on his watch and liberated by the Reagan revolution.

That's why I thought it needed some attention! LOL!

Dittomom, you MUST let these Brits know your informed opinion.

My husband sent this link to me a few minutes ago. Thank you, dear!

This is like winning an Oscar;a source of pride to the winner but no else really cares except those that didn't win ;-)

Jimmy will be insufferable now, even worse that his normal pious, sanctimonoius, gasbag, feckless, dithering, thug worshipping, small minded self.

Molly, when he was Governor here ( yes, my poor state! ) we called him "Wee Jimmy," because "he's like a real Governor, only smaller..."

I'm sorry to say he hasn't grown in the role of former President, either.

The Nobel Peace Prize has become a mocking parody of itself, what with Arafat a recipient...
