Pardon me if I'm behind the curve, folks. I've known that Zsa Zsa Huffington has been something of an eclectic flake lately, from her flirtation with Warren Beatty and other Hollyweird types, being a full-blown McCainiac and venomous Bush-basher, but I didn't know she'd formally jumped the fence.

Just caught her on O'Reilly's segment where one of his reporters infiltrated Jesse Jackson's birthday party, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the good "Reverend," and chuckling loudly as he made flippant responses to the reporter's tough questions about the finances of Rainbow/Push.

Unreal. She sat regularly with conservatives on WFB's Firing Line as recently as a few years ago. Just sickening to watch.

I saw it. O'Reilly noted that she seems to have gone over to the left. The reporter who was there said that the birthday bash was mostly a bashing of President Bush. Arianna was hanging all over Jesse, rubbing his back. The reporter was told that if Jesse had know he was from FNC, he wouldn't have been issued a press pass.

We here on the Central Coast of California remember the annoyingly nasal "ZsaZsa" Huffington well. She and her girly-boy "husband" came roaring in from Texas with a bunch of his Daddeh's oil money and knocked off our good, Republican congressman of many years, Bob Lagomarsino.

After seven months as a Congressman, Michael Huffington claimed he was "bored" with his job, and decided to challenge Dianne Sweinstein for the Senate. It was the most expensive Senate race to date, and DiFi cleaned his clock.

Not too long after that fiasco, the lovely and gracious Arianna and Michael split the sheets. He wasn't heard from for a few years until he decided to inform the world (who could have cared less) that he's gay.

In the meantime, our Congressional district eventually went Democrat with the liberal Walter Capps, who died suddenly less than a year after his election in 1996. He was succeeded by his well-meaning, but hopelessly liberal and vapid widow, Lois, who still reigns today.
