Crystal meth use here called worst in nation

Hawai'i has the worst crystal meth problem in the country and it is destroying families and communities, U.S. Attorney Ed Kubo said yesterday.

Meth users who support their habits through burglaries, shopliftings, robberies, purse snatchings and car thefts have helped to raise Hawai'i's larceny-theft rate to the highest in the United States, Kubo said.

Again, the population of the entire state thanks you Socialists who think the law is a joke, meanwhile our homes, vehicles and assets are looted for the sake of items for the pawnbrokers (who the constabulary don't bother either!).

Tourists love to be beaten up, raped and scared shitless by people who threaten them in a language (drugged out pidgin) that the older locals don't even understand.

This place is not Paradise anymore, it is the lower portion of the small intestine of a bovine slut.

The police in this state are more concerned with revenue schemes like the "Click it or Ticket" financial Cash Cow scams than your welfare.

I spent time in Hawaii during the first two weeks of September. I had a conversation with someone who worked on the North Shore of Oahu for about two months. This kid (recent college grad) mentioned the "dark underbelly" of crystal meth use on the North Shore.

On Oahu, the "Dark Underbelly" should scare the hell out of anyone who lives or travels in the vicinity from Kaena to Diamond Head, regardless of path chosen, for anyone anywhere is a target if they look like they have a dollar or two on them.

What have Jeremy Harris or Benny Cayetano done to curb this?

Not a damned thing.

Jeremy Harris is already about to be hanged by the Feds, and Cayetano doesn't give a damn, since he got his name in the record books as a Gov of the state.

One last point... The drugs are continuing to flow in even thought the airports are being monitored (even though by idiots)...

Who runs the docks and who inspects the containers?

It is another page out of the Chicago of the Capone era, and the unions continue to benefit...

I just love how they're always finding new pakalolo fields/plots but I rarely hear of a meth bust. I don't care for the idea of a pot-head on the road, but they're a much friendlier group than those on meth.

Meth is bad news. I just learned of a person I went to high school with 25 yrs ago who is now in prison for manufacture of meth. He had a good job, a house on 10 acres of woods almost paid off, and threw it all away for this. Last year my neighborhood's mailboxes got broken into 3 or 4 times. When the ring got caught, it turned out they were meth addicts, looking to bleach checks and steal credit card numbers, identity theft. Stay away from meth and its addicts, it's bad news.

And that sucks. Hawaii is supposed to be a tourist attraction. I took a vacation there early last year, and the tour guides and travel agency warned us over and over again, "Don't leave valuables in your car". You could see the sights, but always had to worry about some nut breaking into your car. Shouldn't be that way in Hawaii.

Where you live on which island is irrelevant, but the stories are genuine from the old "coppers" (got to give an uncle or two a plug).

When "bud" was the "worst" thing around (besides fools who drove snockered), the violent crime rate was next to nil.

I have seen this scenario from the early days of Austin, when we did not have to lock our doors. People would come to the door from next door, across the street, from across town of from another city (San Antone to Dallak to Hooten, El Paso to Midland, etc., and we never had to lock the doors.

If anyone came in they would leave a note and let us know where they were staying and that would be it.

Then the heroin showed up, a shooting occurred outside of town over the crap, and within four months the rip-offs of the houses began in earnest.

Seen the pattern over and over.

Some nut broke into our rental car while we were snorkeling in Hanauma Bay (Oahu). Lucky for us all the perp got was my little day purse with next-to-nothing in it, except maybe a lipstick and a ........... feminine protection. :-)

I was lucky, but then again I only rented a car to see Kauai (sp) for a day. Probably not as bad there as Oahu, where I stayed. It stinks that you should even have to worry about it in Hawaii, since they rely so much on tourism for their economy. But then again, it is a Socialist Utopia, so go figure. Actually I enjoyed the heck out of my stay there over all, but it could be better.
