From what I've read/learned, the "death" card of the Tarot is not to be interpreted to be death of a person. If it is responsibly and correctly interpreted; it is meant to predict the death of something, such as: the death of a lifestyle, death of a relationship, partnership, business deal, habit, etc...
Another thing is: If any card of the tarot is laid in the opposite position (upside/downside), it is the reverse, or opposite meaning. If it is upright in one layout, it means one thing, but if it is upside down in another layout, it means the reverse, or opposite.

No one ouside of the cops has actually seen the Tarot card, right? How do we know that it isn't the Eight of Swords which I reckon would be the "Killing Card"?
