I'm sure a target within the Capitol has passed all our minds. I'm going to add to that the recent story of the riddle...the guy who was discussing the sticks etc.. We may be looking back at 9-11 because of the speakers inference (which is what I was doing until now)...rather than looking at it as something to come.

He described a cake with a stick hanging down and when I look at a bird's eye view of the Capitol building with it's long Mall, it's exactly what I see. The two sticks he mentions earlier may be Oct. 2nd..

Well, he knows what we would set up OUTSIDE of the Capitol loop and would likely be casing the inside of the Capitol loop on foot.

Heard there's a big food festival this weekend and saw people all over the place.

He must fit right in so I'd guess a johnny jihad "cleaned up" type....there's only thousands of those.

The question is: What's the end game??

I've been thinking this thing was being carried out by some "domestic dregs", not terrorists. But there is one thing that has a distinct "ME dregs" tinge - the relentless attacks on unarmed and untrained civilians. The human filth in the ME tend to have low self-confidence - they don't want to risk attacking IDF soldiers or bases. If the sniper/s in this thing really wanted to test their warrior skills, there's a place in North Carolina they could visit. The carpet would be red - stained with their blood. BTW I don't think you're Amanpour...

I concur...the FBI and ATF are being called into this investigation...I expect a truck bomb or something will blow up a mall or one of the monuments in DC.
