Point taken. What I'm saying is, I suspect Arabs aren't likely to allow themselves to be tested for HIV. And I doubt that the "human rights" mavins in the international organizations are allowed to press the issue. I suspect that HIV/AIDS is rampant in Egypt and the rest of North Africa. And considering what I've heard about the sex trade, urban Arab men are most definitely exposing themselves to the dangers.

The HIV positive numbers in most third-world countries are not the result of testing. They are estimates based on the numbers of people showing up with symptoms of AIDS. They just don't have as many people showing up with symptoms of AIDS in the Muslim countries. The differences in infection rates between Northern Africa and Southern Africa are amazing.
