You are absolutely right. I have commented several times on this forum my concern about M.E. Mulsim women whom I know personally as grad student colleagues of mine. Two of them returned to the M.E. for summers and returned wearing the veil (they had not arrived in the states wearing one). I find this more frightening than almost anything; these are intelligent, "modern" intellectuals who are converting to a fundamentalist form of dress in support of the islamofascist conversion of nearly the entire moose limb world. Scary, scary, scary!
You know how some girls dress like slobs or dress in a most androgenous fashion because they don't feel good about themselves and their sexuality? Or to turn men off because of bad past experiences?
