He criticized U.S. District Judge John Coughenour for barring testimony from a Navy admiral... The judge also barred testimony from Sen. Bob Smith, R-N.H., a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Good going, judge. These two witnesses sure wouldn't be professional or credible. < /sarcasm >
Sorry if this was already posted, I did a search on the title and several keywords.
I screwed up the title. It should be "LCDR Daly."

Daly, who sought $25 million in damages, will appeal, said his lead attorney, Larry Klayman of Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C., government-watchdog group.Nice work, Larry!

I can possibly see why Sen. Smith was not allowed to testify, but the Admiral? Do not be surprised to see the 9th Circuit grant a new trial and allow the admiral to testify.

Unfortunately, even though Klayman is a fine attorney; his reputation (deserved or not) may be a detriment to some of his clients, especially in cases tried before a jury.

Testimony from Sen. Bob Smith, R-N.H., a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, could be very embarrassing to our gov't and the Russians!!

An interview concerning this story including Commander Daly himself can be found
here. The 55 minute show from Dr. Stanley Monteith (http://www.radioliberty.com) contains the interview which starts around the 17:00 minute. The show has the title "4:00 PM: Jane Chastain - The Sniper" which is an incorrect title.
The portion about Sen. Smith who travelled 3000 miles to testify is really irritating. Also, they can not get access to the photos taken so they can see if they have been doctored. The claim is that they do not show evidence of lasing in progress.

If Senator Smith is your most important witness, then your case has problems.....

Was doing a little house cleaning today and ran across this post. Anybody know what ever happened in this case?
