That's because they are determined to get all the mileagle out of this they can get so their replacement gets the sympathy vote. Sadly,I have no doubt this will work. If Wellstone hadn't died,there was a excellent chance he would have been beaten. This is also a death blow for the campaign of his opponet. He might as well go ahead and concede now.

I'm a lot more saddened about the death of Richard Harris. The only plus here is that Minnesota is run pretty much on the level with intelligent election laws. Laws that will have the D-Rats losing this senate seat.

It really is hard not to like the guy as a person, mistaken as he was. We need someone with his level of passion and enthusiasm in the conservative side of things.
